    Hamburger stew:
Brown two lbs hamburger meat in large pan or dutch oven, add two 15oz. cans each of vegetable/chicken broth, beans/blackeye peas, stewed/Italian tomatoes One small package of frozen corn and chopped spinach.
Season to taste while heating, thyme, rosemary, salt ect.
Heat until hot over low to med. heat
You can substitute the frozen corn and spinach for canned but drain the water before adding to stew.
Recipe may be cut in half.
Goes good with hot buttered biscuts or fry bread.
I use this a lot when camping, cooked in my dutch oven hanging over an open fire. I can then bake biscuts in my other dutch oven using charcoal.

    1/4 cup olive oil
    salt and black pepper
    1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.

On a baking sheet, toss all ingredients Bake until tender. Stir after the first 10 minutes, about 20 minutes total.

**for an easy meal, toss with pasta.

MountainDog, I like your advice on the beer...that sounds fast and delicious too!

Y'all made me a fry bread fan. I had never had it until CheyenneWoman put the recipe on here.

I make extra and freeze it. I pull it out of the freezer, pile stuff on it, pop it in the oven or microwave. MMMMMMMMMM
