Congressmen: Yes, Obama Is Using Cloward-Piven Strategy to Collapse the System

In regard to the sudden illegal immigrant surge at the U.S.-Mexico border, two Congressmen have gone on record to confirm President Obama is indeed using a Cloward-Piven strategy to overwhelm America, WND is reporting.

For a look back on how the Obama Administration brought us to this point, enter into evidence two extensive timelines:

• The first, compiled by Judicial Watch, is entitled, “A Timeline of the Obama Administration’s Four Year-Long Conspiracy to Grant Amnesty to Illegal Aliens by Dismantling Enforcement of Our Laws Against Illegal Immigration.”
• The second, published on Senator Jeff Sessions’ official website, is entitled, “Timeline: How The Obama Administration Bypassed Congress To Dismantle Immigration Enforcement”.

But here are just three very basic examples floating around the news lately that get the idea across easily enough.

• Not only did DHS put out a purchase order for escort services for 65,000 unaccompanied alien children all the way back in January…
• And not only does the 2015 Department of Justice appropriations report, also released earlier this year, ask for funding for “a pilot unaccompanied alien children program”…
• But now, in a direct contradiction of what the administration is telling the American public, a recently leaked Homeland Security memo admits the fact that “only 0.1 percent of the Central American minors illegally entering the U.S. having been deported in Fiscal Year 2013, down from two percent prior,” and this “plays a significant role in why the current border crisis is occurring.”

So, in essence, our government officials knew this wave of illegal immigrants were coming to our borders, and they planned for it well before it hit, because they’ve known for quite some time the Obama Administration’s policies are causing it to happen.
This is in addition to the fact that a 2013 ICE document reveals in detail the fact that over 36,000 criminal illegal aliens were released from our government’s custody while awaiting the outcome of deportation proceedings in that year alone. These people had a whopping 88,000 convictions between them, including homicide, sexual assault, kidnapping, aggravated assault, car theft, and drunk/drugged driving to name just a few.
Sounds a lot like a set up, doesn’t it?
Well, now Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa and Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas both agree that the Obama Administration’s policies are derived from a Cloward-Piven strategy — a strategy concocted by radical sociologists to crash the system and transform America into a socialist state.
WND reports:

“I do feel this attempt to flood the border with illegals is a playing out of the Cloward-Piven theory,” said Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa.
“If you don’t see them bring reinforcements down there to seal the border, that means that, yes, it’s a Cloward-Piven maneuver to flood the country until we get to the point where we are an open-borders country that welcomes everybody, legal and illegal,” he told WND.
Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas, agreed that Obama – who studied the chaos strategy at Columbia, according to a classmate – “is trying to do a Cloward-Piven thing with the border.”
“Obama follows all the far-left, Leninist, socialist-type stuff,” Stockman told WND.

Wikipedia sums up the Cloward-Piven strategy as, “a political strategy outlined in 1966 by American sociologists and political activists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven that called for overloading the U.S. public welfare system in order to precipitate a crisis that would lead to a replacement of the welfare system with a national system of ‘a guaranteed annual income and thus an end to poverty’.”
Border resources are already being overwhelmed. The House Homeland Security Chair is calling it a “crisis like nothing I’ve ever seen”. A potential pandemic is becoming more likely by the day, as people crossing into the country are reportedly infected with everything from drug-resistant tuberculosis to HIV to scabies, rabies and dengue hemorrhagic fever — people who are barely being checked out and definitely not properly quarantined from otherwise healthy people. Border Patrol whistleblowers are coming forward, despite an Obama Administration gag order, to say that they are not being allowed to do their jobs.
This thing is far from under any semblance of control.
Beyond that, with more Americans on welfare programs now than at any other time in American history, a sudden massive influx of enrollees could easily crash the system, leading inevitably to the kinds of civil disturbances the government has been gearing up to respond to by suspending the Constitution and declaring martial law.
In fact, a massive influx of immigrants across the U.S.-Mexico border was the main pretext under which the Rex 84 program and its FEMA camps were designed in the first place.
Regardless of the fact that the Obama Administration is trying to frame this as a “humanitarian crisis,” rest assured it’s a created crisis, and the only way to solve it will be with even more big government. Poor Richard’s News sums up the plan:

By framing the flood of children immigrants as a “humanitarian crisis,” President Obama has greater leverage to offer more legal and physical help to illegal immigrant minors. This in turn creates an even more enticing reason for parents in Central and South America to send their children over the border, often unaccompanied. Parents know that their children will be attended to once they’re over the border.
The result is that the entire system is completely overwhelmed and unworkable.

Perhaps that is why Marine Corps Gen. John Kelly, commander of SOUTHCOM, is calling the recent surge in illegal immigration at America’s southern border “a threat to the United States’ very existence”.

America is Melting Under the Weight of Increasing Chaos and Lawlessness

Everywhere you look, America is under severe stress. Aside from all the scandals and current and past controversies involving the Obama presidency, we have yet another one that is sure to do tremendous damage to America

The illegal alien crisis that appears to have been planned is fomenting additional chaos in an already overburdened system. I say that it appears to have been planned because way back in January of this year, the federal government advertised for "Escort Services for Unaccompanied Alien Children." Why did they do that?

How would the government know that six months later, they would need those services unless this crisis is simply another manufactured situation where the rights of Americans are being eradicated or ignored and where additional stress can create more havoc on the system?

America has been called the great Melting Pot and that's always been a rather accurate portrayal of a country that doesn't like to turn people away. However, America has always insisted that those who want to be here (and were not born here of parents who already had the right to be here) jump through a few hoops. Not least of which is making sure you have no criminal background and you're not carrying a disease that could easily spread to the rest of the population.

These rules have been tossed aside with the current tragic turn of events. While the government wants us to focus on the alien "children" that are coming to America, they don't want us to consider the fact that something has obviously been set up.

What parent(s) would allow their young child to go to America unaccompanied by an adult? What parent would seem to not care whether or not any safety features were put in place for their children as they traveled among the coyotes (human and animal), lack of water, extreme heat, and lack of food to get to a place of possibilities?

Heck, we're not even talking about the potential physical harm that can take place against these children. I don't hear anyone talking about the lack of parenting here. All I hear is that America must have compassion.

The problem is that something is really screwed up. With the revelation of the federal government having advertised for escorts, it tells us that the government obviously knew the situation was going to occur, either because they planned it or allowed it.

There are only two reasons that the federal would create/allow a situation like this to occur. First, the federal government wants to turn red states blue. Not all of the illegal aliens entering this country are children (though that group is what the media is focusing on primarily). Many are adults with obvious connections to gangs. Many could easily be part of drug cartels there and sent here to expand operations into the United States. Other adults walking across the border may be other types of criminals or even terrorists. We have no way of knowing because the federal government is not doing its job.
It's job? Yes, it's job. If you look at Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution, it clearly tasks Congress with, among other things, working to "repel invasions" against America. What we have is just that happening. We are experiencing a foreign invasion of well over 300,000 individuals (as of July 5th, when President Obama went golfing at Andrews Airforce Base) with that number growing on a daily basis.

With all of the adults entering this country illegally, who will they vote for during elections? Democrats and those on the left because they will remind these illegals that being in America was made possible by the party that enslaves.

Second, the other goal is to overburden America's system. These illegal aliens walking into America are bringing with them potential pandemics. Scabies, drug-resistant TB and other diseases have already spread to Border Patrol agents. The diseases will continue to spread as they are transmitted from person to person.

This will cause tremendous burdens on our healthcare system. If you consider the additional fact that the federal government is spending $256 per day per illegal alien (that adds up to a staggering nearly $100,000 per year!), that only means that the economic situation in America continues to worsen.
How does allowing hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens into this country help America? It doesn't. How does this same situation help minorities like blacks and others who are here legally, want to work, but cannot find jobs? It doesn't.

I just finished reading Edward Klein's book, "Blood Feud - the Clintons vs. the Obamas" where the author quotes Valerie Jarrett who - while speaking to President Obama - tells him in no uncertain terms he needed to get back to being the president that helps the poor and the middle class. She said this months ago according to Klein.

I cannot think of a situation where Mr. Obama has even once done something that has turned out to help the poor or middle class. When the federal government is run by leftists, all they know how to do is spend money and create more entitlement programs. These programs do not help people become independent thinkers or people who care about how to extricate themselves off the welfare roles.

Entitlement programs reinforce the victim mentality. This is not to say that it should not be available for people who truly need help from time to time. It means that it should never be used so that it becomes a generational substitute for hard work.

Proverbs 30:7-9 says this:

Two things I ask of you, Lord;
do not refuse me before I die:
Keep falsehood and lies far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,
but give me only my daily bread.
Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you
and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’
Or I may become poor and steal,
and so dishonor the name of my God.

The left has done nothing to engender that type of thinking or responsibility. They teach people to put and keep their hands outstretched, then teach those same people to demand the government fill it.

As it continues with increasing numbers, this country will buckle under that weight and that, my friends, is what the left is hoping will happen.

Land of the “Free” (Stuff) — Obama’s Neverland

The past two weeks, since the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold Hobby Lobby’s freedom of religion (over the demand that they provide objectionable forms of birth control to employees), the nation has been bombarded with the ugliness of pathological selfishness that is the result of the fundamental transformation of America; transformation from a nation of self-reliant, mature, God-fearing, work-ethic- valuing adults to a nation of self-centered, spoiled, demanding children.

Since the Supreme Court decision, we have been inundated with a wave of Progressive lies that appeal to emotion and ignore reality. The most visible of these prevaricators, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, and Sandra Fluke, are all repeating the same fantasy – that the Supreme Court denied women access to birth control. The reality of the decision is simple – Hobby Lobby provides 16 kinds of birth control in its health insurance plan; it does not have to provide the 4 kinds of birth control (such as morning after pills) that destroy an embryo, as that violates the religious beliefs of the Christian owners of Hobby Lobby.

No one is denied access to any birth control; those 4 forms of birth control are still available to all Hobby Lobby employees at the drug store, through prescriptions from their doctors’ offices. Nothing is denied to anyone via this decision. The decision only says this – the employees must pay for these 4 forms of birth control; Hobby Lobby does not have to pay for them. But the Progressive Sisterhood shrieks that this is denial of access for all the impoverished Sandra Flukes of the nation.

Welcome to Obama’s Neverland, the results of his fundamental transformation of America. Neverland is the home of Peter Pan, the flying boy who never grows up and plays with mermaids, fairies, and pirates. The denizens of Obama’s Neverland are the Sandra Flukes who demand that they never have to grow up, and that all their needs be provided free of charge, at no cost to them, and that they never have to take care of themselves.

The first hint that this transformation (from independence to dependence, from self-reliance to selfishness and helplessness) was on the way came in the 2008 presidential campaign debates, when Tom Brokaw asked Senators McCain and Obama if health care was a right, a privilege, or a responsibility. Candidate Obama stated his position clearly and succinctly: “Health care should be a right for every American.” Candidate McCain stuttered and stammered, and finally said “The government mandates, I’m always a little nervous about.”

In 2012, candidate Mitt Romney was presented with a golden opportunity to answer the Peter Pan Mandate (that everything be given to me free) when he was campaigning at Butler University in Indiana, and a young coed called out: “So you’re all for like, ‘yay, freedom,’ and all this stuff. And ‘yay, like pursuit of happiness.’ You know what would make me happy? Free birth control.” This gal was an excellent demonstration of the results of our finest liberal arts higher education system today: incoherent, babbling, speaking on the level of a 3 year old, and expressing total selfishness and narcissism.

But Unhappy Coed gave Romney an incredible opportunity to articulate the American ethic, that which made this country great. His answer should have been: Young lady, our foundational documents, specifically the Declaration of Independence, grant every American the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That is, the “PURSUIT” of happiness. You have the right to pursue that which makes you happy. If that is a big house, a fancy car, a prestigious job, a big family, you have the right to work hard, go to classes, do your homework, get a part time job, go to trade school or college, work long hours and accomplish your goals. You DO NOT have the right to demand that your neighbors pay for your happiness, whether that happiness comes in the form of a nice house, nice cars, or birth control.

Romney’s pathetic answer? “If you want free stuff, vote for the other guy.”

Sadly, neither McCain nor Romney were capable of representing and articulating the American ethic, the work ethic that says “I CAN build this, and I will.” McCain’s and Romney’s inability to articulate is endemic to Republican politicians, as there seems to be a universal timidity and passivity ingrained in Republicans when confronted with the Progressive values of sloth, selfishness, Godlessness, and immorality. As a result, we are now immersed in the Neverland culture, where everything must be free, and not just birth control. Recently, the city of Detroit has taken heat for turning off water to households that do not pay for it. And welfare advocates have responded with the predictable Progressive screeching: turning off water on unpaid accounts “is a violation of the human right to water.”

To paraphrase Obama’s own words, Obama did not make this childish America; he simply led the muddled masses (who were already looking for their Peter Pan) to Progressive Neverland, and he made childishness the new American brand – victimized, helpless, oppressed, blame casting. Inarticulate, befuddled Republican “leaders” have been the enablers of this mass deterioration.

The prophet Isaiah warns us of a time when God’s people are beat down, and “Children are their oppressors.” As Obama leads us to Progressive Neverland, where no one ever grows up, we are in the midst of Isaiah’s prophesied time.
