So, global warming?
Good grief...it is late May in the Pacific Northwest, and so far we have only had a few days without rain. Temperatures are in the 50's, and my toes are cold.
Planted a huge garden (basically, since the kids do not "play" outdoors at nearly 13 and 17, we devoted much of our backyard to producing as much as we can from it. We have a huge bed just for the corn, hopefully get about 30 stalks out of it (yielding about 3 ears per plant?), but am sort of afraid my seeds are going to just mildew down there with all that moisture.
Have to admit, the potatoes, peas and green beans and beet starts are loving it, but the tomatoes are suffering.
So how is the weather in the rest of this great nation where you all are at?
Wow, someone needs to call Al Gore and ask him what the heck is going on, since he seems to know so much about this!
