Top cop calls Black Lives Matter 'terrorist group,' is axed

A North Carolina police chief has grudgingly resigned after posting a fiery Facebook rant which called the Black Lives Matter movement "nothing more than an American born terrorist group."

Surf City Police Chief Mike Halstead was asked to resign or be fired for the Sept. 3 post which slammed President Obama and government agencies for failing to "put a stop" to the group — particularly those who cry for violence on the cities' streets.

"The Government and blacks would not tolerate the White Supremacist group to march through the streets and call for the murders of a race of people and a group of public servants," he wrote on his personal Facebook page.

Cops need to get off the backs of the Black Lives Matter protectors and focus on cleaning up their departments and improving their public relations. I'm glad this community asked for his resignation.
