I mean I'm wondering if some school districts are saying "NO" to a uniform because they might have been made aware that a national uniform could be in this bill.
Who knows! Apparently no one has read the bill!!
I'm just trying to put the pieces together regarding this after having read what I did. I hope that I misinterpreted it.....but I'm concerned that although I was rushing at the time, I may have interpreted it right.
Let me reiterate that I do not know if this is true or not. I'm looking for the answer to this.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

A school had instituted a dress code banning jeans and a student was sent home for wearing them. The United States District Court, D. New Hampshire held "A person's right to wear clothes of his own choosing provided that, in the case of a schoolboy, they are neat and clean is a constitutional right protected and guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment. U.S.C.A.Const. Amend. 14." It also said, "Prohibition of high school dress code against wearing of dungarees was unconstitutional and invalid, in absence of showing that wearing of dungarees in any way inhibited or tended to inhibit the educational process."

ASHEBORO — A unified dress code will not be implemented for Asheboro City Schools’ middle-schoolers next school year.
The Asheboro City Board of Education decided, at Thursday night’s regular meeting, not to put a middle school unified dress policy in effect. The decision drew applause from the approximately 50 parents who were in attendance for the vote.
Eight parents addressed the board, during public comments earlier in the meeting, to voice their opposition to the unified dress policy.
And the results of a parental survey on unified dress showed that the majority of those who responded did not support the move.
Seventy-seven percent of the parents of next school year’s middle school students participated in the survey taken the week of March 23. They accounted for 757 of the 985 surveys issued to parents of this year’s students in grades 5-7.
Survey results showed that 57 percent, 429 respondents, did not support the unified dress proposal while 42 percent, 317, would support it. One percent of the surveys, 11, were returned without a vote. Two community members without ties to the city school system or interest in the outcome of the vote counted and tallied all surveys returned.
The survey results were presented by Brad Rice, director of support services, who told the board that they were “thrilledâ€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
