It is now time to fish or cut bait ~ We are being bracketed

Well now is the time to fish or cut bait

Romney is ahead in the delegate count but he can't keep getting
whittled away by one clown in one state and then another clown in
    the next state

With all due respect to the Ron Paul people , its time to take a good
look at what is happening here , I know some of you will never change
your mind and can't support Romney at any cost , I respect that
but others are just looking out for this country and see the writing on
the wall as far as Hunter and Paul

The way I see it the only way we keep Rudi , McC and Huck out of the white house , or Hillary/obama is by supporting Romney

And we better do it quick because time is running out

But what if we feel that Romney is no different from the rest?

We have been voting for those deemed to be winnable, to keep someone else from winning, to keep dem/rep out of office, etc., etc., for decades.

    How's it working for us?

I know that you sincerely mean well about Romney; I just don't see the evidence that he'll do a good job with border security and enforcing our immigration laws, although I do give him credit for trying to get his Mass State Police immigration 287g training. That was good.

You're right USANevada, in my opinion. The writing's on the wall. Either Romney gets in there or a pro-amnesty candidate like McCain does.

Huckabee's already made it clear where he stands with his position on not wanting to revoke the 14th amendment to change the birthright citizenship laws.

It looks like the other candidates, Duncan Hunter and Ron Paul, don't have much chance at this point. Romney's the only hope we have.

It's probably Romney or amnesty. I'm still not even sure where he stands, but at this point he's not blatantly pro-illegal.

In this case he may be the only Repub that can beat Hillary or Obama

You know full well that Huck, Rudi or McCain are not going to
pull the votes of the anti illegal groups

I'd also like to not see this turn into a "bash" Ron Paul thread ,

I don't think most of us Romney supporters wouldn't vote for Paul in a second if he was viable

But now we have to look ahead , letting Rudi, Mac and Huck bracket us the way they are is not going to work either

I heard he was a bigot.....
    Some people think he's crazy....
Immigration reform should reflect a commitment to enforcement, not reward those who blatantly break the rules. - Rep Dan Boren D-Ok

Didn't we vote last time -just to keep a Dem out of office?

Again, how's that working for us?

I am not supporting Ron Paul to support Ron Paul - I want his message to be heard. It isn't radical, it isn't new, it is common sense, it was mainstream some years ago.

If we are going to fix anything we can't stay with the same old bunch, we can't continue doing the same old thing and pretending it makes a difference if there is a dem or rep in the WH.

I always remember when a tv host was talking to Ralph Nader about the fact by running for President he had taken votes and changed the outcome of the elections and so Bush won. Nader just laughed.

I am a registered Democrat in California. I will either vote for Lou Dobbs or Romney. I am trying to decide what to do about the Primaries. Even if I change my party to Independent, I can't vote for a Republican.

For those undecided that are going to read this thread , I'll outline it one more time

    Romney

Partnered his state of Mass. with ICE to go after illegals , even though
the Lib gov that took over for him canceled it

Romney opposed in state tuition for illegals , also opposed drivers licenses for illegals

He pushed English immersion over bi lingual in Mass. schools

His stand is deportation through attrician , building the fence
cutting of work , cutting federal funding to sanctuary cities

He is running on an anti illegal alien platform,

It is also rumored that he is a CFR affiliate , Which might or might not be true , if it is they sure arn't backing him

His family values and morals are high , he believes in free trade but also in fair trade

I'm going to vote for Hunter here. There is no reason why California Republicans should not vote for the man. I still have hope we can pull it off.
Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.

    See you at the signing!!
