We are on the verge of a historical showing for RON PAUL on the campus of Michigan State University. Home of the Spartans!

Many you have seen the fictional film "300" based on accounts of the great 300 Spartan warriors who defied a Persian onslaught of an estimated army over 1 million strong. What incredible odds.....it was known as the Battle of Thermopylae.

We Can Win Kansas

40 Delegates.

First State After Super Tuesday.

Momentum for Missouri.

Kansas is tearing it up! Kansas City, Lawrence, Topeka, and Wichita all have great GOTV plans and are on fire for Dr. Paul. But we need your help! Wichita and Sedgwick County holds the largest caucus in the nation and Wichita for Ron Paul has developed the system that will deliver it to us on a silver platter.

We have developed our own online phone banking system, currently deployed on our customized database of local voters. Because of this, it is an even more efficient tool for our efforts locally than the national Phone from Home system. The goal for the phone banking system is simply to poll our refined database to gather information on 1st and 2nd choices, how strong their support for their 1st choice is, and the 2 most important issues of that voter.

With the data we gather, we will then target those who reply favorably to Paul IN PERSON to the extent possible, and by phone for those we can't reach face to face. We'll provide them with information on their most important issues and ensure we have their support for the caucus.

Our system has already produced HUNDREDS of Ron Paul supporters.

We have the man power for contacting those favorable to Paul, but only if we complete the calling process in the next few days. If we can do this quickly, we can also target the undecided and those whose support for “the dark side“ is weak.

How Ron Paul Wins The Nomination: Delegates, Social Precincts and a Possible Brokered Convention

In the recent Republican Debate in Arizona, when asked the one misconception people may have of him, Ron Paul said that it was that he couldn’t win.

When looking at the likely Delegate counts coming out of the Caucuses and Primaries that have voted, the potential of a Brokered Convention, and Rep.

Paul’s chances again President Obama in a head-to-head match up, it is difficult to place Dr. Paul in the unelectable category. In fact, as it looks, Ron Paul is the best candidate to put against President Obama, is likely going to end up second in Delegates once delegates are assigned in the States that have voted, can easily over take Romney in Delegate count before the convention, and if it comes to it, has the best argument and ground organization to win a Brokered Convention.

First of all, it isn’t sure that either there’ll be a brokered convention, or that Paul won’t emerge the Nominee in the first round of voting. An (admitted biased but likely closer) assessment of what the actual delegate count looks like, shows Paul in second place only slightly behind Romney.

This guy makes some amazing points. This is exactly what we need to do as supporters. This is similar to what Susan Landers, an activist in Florida, was promoting. While I was in Florida, we went through her phone, called her friends, and went to their houses to get them to vote for Ron Paul and even put Signs in their front-yards. One friend let us hang a banner from his balcony overlooking a trafficked street.

Fundamental Grassroots Activism

Canvas, Sign Wave, Tabling, and Outreach. Go to events in your area where large number of like minded people are collected. Talk to them. Learn how to listen to their concerns and share with them the information that will help them make the best decision own their own.

A Brokered Convention

If Ron Paul, or any other candidate, is unable to secure the 1,144 Delegates needed to win the Nomination, after a first round of voting Delegates will be freed to vote for whom they wish, and a “brokered convention” will begin.

The history of the brokered convention has seen “dark horse” candidates rising from the bottom of the stack to becoming the nominee. It has even been hinted that if no candidate is able to secure the nomination that new candidates will be drafted at the convention. All of this proves that even if he is not in the lead, Ron Paul can still become the Nominee at a brokered convention.

The first round of voting at the 1924 DNC had John W. Davis winning 3% of the Delegates; after 103 rounds of voting, Davis won the Nomination. If the 2012 RNC becomes a brokered convention, Ron Paul’s Delegates will have to make the argument that Paul is the best candidate to face President Obama in the General Election.

It’s the Economy Stupid!

Ron Paul is the only candidate that has actually specified enough cuts to balance the budget by the third-year of his first term.

Whether or not Congress gives President Paul back the same budget he submits to them, it is clear that Paul is willing to make the potentially unpopular cuts needed to get our economy in order. Representative Paul has given voters a clear direction that they can hold him accountable to.

The average of the polls in the above article show that there is roughly 15% of voters willing to consider a third-candidate. The majority of these voters are coming from the “right.” The same PPP poll that shows Romney losing in every potential 3-Way Race, shows Paul as a Third-Party candidate winning 17% of the vote. While it is doubtful that Paul will run third-party, what this shows is that Paul, as the Republican Nominee, is able to win over the majority of these potential third-party voters.

Dr. Paul Can Beat Obama

Consistently Paul has placed within range of beating Obama in a head-to-head match-up. He is able to do this as a strict fiscal conservative by winning over Democrats and Independents by making good on many civil and foreign policy issues that the President has failed to follow through: The War on Drugs, The Wars Overseas, and Corporate Welfare. He is also a strict Constitutional-conservative, thus his positions on Abortion and Gay Marriage leave those decisions to the States, thus assuring those on the left that the Federal Government will stay out of their lives.

Ron Paul today spoke at the Capital in downtown Oklahoma City. I could not make it - got sick - but my brother, his wife and two kids did get to go and took a shot of the crowd. Hopefully as the day goes on more people will have pics and video. Looks like 1000+ from that one photo.
