Doing a Background Check on CNN
Since CNN broadcasters seem so intent on looking back decades into promo letters and newletters put out by one of Ron Paul's organizations, when everyone admits Ron Paul did not write the letters, lets take a look at the background of some of those affiliated with CNN. It's as elitist as you can get, with strong ties to the CIA recruiting ground, Yale University.
CNN is owned by Times Warner who's CEO Jeffery L. Bewkes is a director of the Council on Foreign Relations and also serves on the board of Yale University.
Also affiliated with Yale and CNN are Anderson Cooper and David Gergen.
Anderson Cooper spent time interning, during his summer breaks in his sophomore and junior years at Yale, at the CIA.
Cooper is the son of Gloria Vanderbilt and the great-great-great-grandson of Cornelius Vanderbilt. It was J.P. Morgan, Rockefeller and Vanderbilt who developed Jekyll Island, where the Wall Street elite developed the plan to launch the Federal Reserve.
Cooper is also a member of the Manuscript Society (aka The Wrexham Foundation). The Manuscript Society is a secret society at Yale University, like Skull & Bones. The society holds an annual gathering in its tomb on Halloween.
CNN senior political correspondent, David Gergen, is also a member of the Manuscript Society and was a presidential advisor who served during the administrations of Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and Clinton.
It is not clear when the Manuscript Society "tapped" blacks for membership, if ever. There are no publicly known black members of the society.
As for the CNN reporter, Gloria Borger, who badgered Ron Paul, I have already reported on her background:
Well, well, it turns out hit job specialist Gloria Borger is married to Lance Morgan. Morgan is according to the web site of his employer, Powell Tate,"chief communications strategist at Powell Tate in Washington, D.C. He specializes in developing and executing communications strategies for public policy debates, crisis communications and media training."
So who might be the clients of Powell Tate, where Borger's husband is "chief communications strategist and crisis communications" adviser?
Just about every part of the military industrial-complex that Ron Paul wants to shrink or shutdown. According to the Powell Tate web site, they provide strategic communications for among others:
The U.S. Army
The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services
The U.S Agency for International Development
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce
and, I'm not joking, The National Pork Board.
Bottom line Gloria Borger's husband is as inside Washington DC as you can get.
CNN is just the type of organization you would expect to go after Ron Paul, they are at the very core of elitist, establishment, hypocritical, Washington D.C.

Kelly Clarkson, Ron Paul Endorsement Aftermath: Backed by Blake Shelton, Album Sales Surge
Posted on Jan 3rd 2012 2:40PM by Erin Duvall
AP | FilmMagic
As reported by The Boot, country star and 'The Voice' coach Blake Shelton would go to blows for Kelly Clarkson, literally. Shelton has come to the defense of the 'Mr. Know It All' singer after she caused a stir upon announcing her support of Texas Congressman Ron Paul for the Republican Presidential nomination.
"I love Ron Paul," Kelly wrote on her WhoSay account. "I liked him a lot during the last Republican [sic] nomination and no one gave him a chance. If he wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012, he's got my vote. Too bad he probably won't."
After her Twitter account was inundated with opinions opposing her position, Blake came to her defense, tweeting, "I love you!!!! I'll listen to your view points anytime. And I really wouldn't mind throat punching someone for you either!!" To which she promptly replied, "Thanks," with a smiley face.
Later that day, Kelly took to her WhoSay account once more to address the controversy. "Man my eyes have been opened to so much hate tonight," she wrote. "If y'all ever disagree with something I say please don't feel the need to attack me. I will listen to what you say and any articles or viewpoints you have when you say it with respect. Being hateful is not a healthy way to get people to see or hear you. I was raised to respect people and their decisions and beliefs and I hope you will grant me the same decency. If you don't agree with me simply unfollow me. It's really that easy. I hope you don't because I would love the chance to hear what you have to say but if you're so blinded by hate you can't seek peace and progress then that is your unfortunate prerogative."
Although it looks like Kelly gets the last laugh, since her record sales shot up more than 440 percent in the wake of the political controversy. In fact, her latest album, 'Stronger,' went from No. 38 to No. 7 on Amazon's sales list.
In other news, Kelly spent New Year's Eve in Oklahoma with Mr. Shelton and his wife, Miranda Lambert, as well as Blake's fellow 'The Voice' coach Adam Levine. See a pic of the festivities here.

HOT: "Error" on Poll Results Put Santorum Ahead of Ron Paul
Run Ron Paul reports:
With just days remaining until the all-important Republican Iowa caucuses, a left-leaning political newspaper based near the nation’s capital made a critical error in reporting the results of the final Des Moines Register opinion poll before voters gather Tuesday.
On Saturday evening Politico incorrectly reported that the poll showed former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum “climbing to second [place] at 21 percent and Ron Paul in third, with 18 percent.” In fact, Paul took second place with 22 percent of the vote. Santorum was third with 15 percent.
The faulty report was issued via email as a “Politico Breaking News” alert. Politico sent a second email shortly afterward with the correct poll results, stipulating that “[t]his breaking news alert corrects a previous breaking news alert...Phone messages left for four top Politico editors were not returned. A fifth, reached by phone, would not speak on the record but promised a return call from someone who would. No such call was received.

CNN drops news feed on anti-war Soldier
Oops! Back to you Wolf...
Here's an interesting view from a uniformed soldier that you generally wouldn't hear on the lame stream news.
"Well, I think it would be even more dangerous to start nit-picking wars with other countries. Someone like Iran... Israel is more than capable... "

Oops! Nevermind. Five seconds into his explanation of why he
supports Ron Paul's foriegn policy CNN drops the news feed and
cuts to something they feel is more appropriate.
Of course, it is possible that it was just a coincidence. An
accident, if you will. I mean, these things happen, right?
I suppose I should let you decide...

Ron Paul Blasts Back At “Chicken Hawk” Gingrich
“Gingrich has no business talking about danger because he is putting other people in danger”
Steve Watson
Infowars.com
January 4, 2012
Following his strong finish in the Iowa caucuses, GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul hit back today at rival Newt Gingrich following comments by the former Speaker of The House that Paul was “stunningly dangerous” to the U.S.
After he came in fourth place behind the Congressman, Gingrich slammed Paul during his speech in Iowa last night.
Paul, who served as a surgeon in the U.S. Air Force after attending medical school, blasted back during a CNN appearance this morning, labeling Gingrich a “chickenhawk” who avoided the Vietnam War.
“I don’t want to fight a war that’s unconstitutional and I’m the dangerous person?” Paul urged.
“You know, when Newt Gingrich was called to service in the 1960s during the Vietnam era, guess what he thought about danger? He chickened out on that, he got deferments and didn’t even go,” Paul added.
“So right now he sends these young kids over there to endure the danger, and the kids coming back, the young people coming back and the ones in the military right now, they overwhelmingly support my campaign.” the Congressman continued.
Referencing the number of veterans who are supporting his bid and endorsing his platform of limited overseas involvement, Paul added “We get twice as much support from active military personnel than all the other candidates put together”
“So, Newt Gingrich has no business talking about danger because he is putting other people in danger. Some people call that kind of a program a chickenhawk and I think he falls into that category,” Paul asserted, pointing to Gingrich’s support for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
