As of last Thursday, May 13, I was told that Rep. Russell Pearce was taking direct action to get an alternate location for June 5 in Bolin park but the permits for the park on that date had not been secured yet as of the 13th.

William:
Please, I encourage you to apologize to former Congressman, Tom Tancredo for associating him with racist organizations.
I think somewhere you must have been misinformed about Tom Tancredo, but it is not too late to correct the unintended error and put this behind us so we can ALL move forward to oppose illegall immigration.

William, I am becoming a little concerned that some of the responses on this thread, including that of Smeriglio, have been deleted. I don't think it's right to censor their posts when the comments were applicable to the discussion at hand. I keep an open mind on sides of an argument and always question, and I think deleting those posts may be against such spirit.

I have flight ticket, room reserved, and a rental car for the 12th and would be interested as all hell to find out if it's still on. Last I heard Brewer and others were speaking. What the hell is going on here?

I consider this to be a cowardly decision and, as a result, I will no longer stand up for ALIPAC. What good are you?
I am henceforth unsubscribing from your newsletter. I sincerely hope that before it's too late, you decide to sprout a set.

I'm glad I didn't send ALIPAC any money if they're going to back down from the cause that easily. All it takes anymore is for someone to call you a racist and you fold your tents and go away. Even though the illegals have radicals working with them (LARAZA) the people on the side of the law are expected to be politically correct. Believe me, we need to embrace anybody who is on our side in this. This is a battle for our Country and we need all the help we can get. Tom Tancredo has practically stood alone in this and all you can do is say something negative about him.

William, I'm a little confused. My understanding is this is a rally formed by someone else - NOT US - that we agreed to join up with and now have concerns about and are disassociating ourselves from. I understand that - if we 'joined' a skin-head type group, we will be associated as being under their 'umbrellla' and espousing their beliefs by association. If WE formed this program, it seems to me that WE would hold the permit, which we apparently we DIDN'T. As I understand it - someone else had or didn't have a permit, not us and are the organizers of the rally. If others besides us who's beliefs we don't wish to espouse (not officially or sanctioned by us) show up and cause problems we have no right to ask to have them removed. If WE hold the permit, we can and would. Is that particular site the only one in all of Phoenix in which to hold this rally? Couldn't WE get a permit and hold our own rally somewhere else besides the spot the pro-amnesty folks already have a permit for? What about a stadium?
One thing I am confused about - though, William, when we went through the decision to support or not support a certain CNN commentator we nearly all had previously supported - you said that our 'policy' was to make no 'executive decision' for the entire group, but would 'poll' as it were, the entire group for feedback regarding whether or not to pull our support of that person, i.e. to gain a concensus. In the end, we DID remove our support. Did we do that in this instance? (I am referring, in part, to 1st, pull out of the rally and 2nd, to re-distribute outside ALIPAC the funds donated to date to be used by the group for necessary expenses dedicated to organizing and getting to and from Arizona, etc.)
If we didn't, aren't we breaking with established group tradition or am I missing something? It's not, mind you, that I want to go to Arizona and march or rally with skinheads - or would even be able to physically go to Arizona with ALIPAC no matter what. I'd love to be at OUR rally, but the finances aren't personally available to do that. It's the manner in which we decide to withdraw.
I, personally, have not had extra funds to donate -just my heart and emotional support - so it's not the 'money' for me, but the process in making this decision. Who made this decision to pull out and how was it made? Did we give the group time to speak their piece or was it an 'executive decision'? I don't mean to be contrary, I'm just either confused, or missed something even though I try to read each email from ALIPAC. Thank you.
