While I think the song is a tad cheesy, it is accomplishing its job. It brings to light the language issue in this country and is putting it infront of millions of people. Only good can come of that.

Some may not like the analogy, but I see this song like an annoying commercial. When I first see it I may not rock out to it, but I'll be darned if a few hours later i don't have the jingle and hook lines stuck in my head. If a few million Americans get the same response then mission accomplished on this front.

In closing don't always assume that your likes and opinions represent those of the entire country. If there is a possible tool out there that you don't dig, but can further our movement, keep an open mind about it
