I got a late start on this.....eye Dr. appt and couldn't see for about 4 hrs due to dilation, but I got on it as soon as I could and finished up my last email/fax. I crafted my own, as always, so I think this will have a better impact. I hope the phones rang off of the walls!!!

After I figured out what I wanted to say, I made calls to both my senators earlier today. Will change the words tonight and email, so they can wake up to my eloquent points tomorrow.

I have sent both my senators, Herb Kohl and Russ Feigold, e-mails expressing my concerns about ramming Sotomayer through confirmation before the summer break.

Both of my state's senators already voted, as I understood it from C-Span info today.
Johanns (Repub-NE) AGAINST, and NELSON (Dem-NE) FOR.
Johanns was just elected to Senate first time in Nov 08, and I think he might be good for us. He already has an A grade from NumbersUSA. (Actually A minus, but they don't give any higher for new senators.) Ben Nelson is more of a problem, and of course he voted for Sotomayor.
Sorry, I digress.
I will send e-mails to other senators, though. Will check back later.<div>Number*U.S. military*in S.Korea to protect their border with N.Korea: 28,000. Number*U.S. military*on 2000 mile*U.S. southern border to protect ourselves from*the war in our own backyard: 1,200 National Guard.</

I made the calls earlier but have not had the chance to get back online until now. Lugers staffer just laughed at me.
