If ICE wants to prosecute the employers, they need witnesses, and who better to testify than the illegals that were hired by them.

There should be no half Band-Aids on this problem but a fully wrapped and plastered cast. There are the employers of illegals, which are now the focus of attention (although there is no mandatory E-Verify for anyone) and then there are the illegals taking American jobs that "knowingly" broke our immigration laws. And employers can counter this with not "knowingly" hiring illegals because they are no fraudulent document experts, and after all, it is the the job of the feds to enforce immigration laws.
Get rid of the word Knowingly and that would at least be a full Band-Aid on the problem.

I have asked this question before and have yet to receive an answer...but here it is again!

How can Obama, particuarly Obama, do all of these things he is doing on his own with no congressionsal oversite or being called on the carpet for not following portocol presidents have almost always followed?

I realize that the Democrats control Congress, however would'nt you think that they would at least make a try at keeping things with the so-called president within some rational limits?

Is'nt putting people who hired illegals in jail and then having illegals testify against this person illegal? ICE has always arrested the illegals and fined the owner? The rule of law seems to have fallen by the wayside.

I voted NO. Not because I don't want Obama impeached. I would love to see it. But you have to have an impeachable offense, which is "high crimes and misdemeanors". All I see here is DHS granting work cards to illegal immigrants because they presumably are aiding DHS in the investigation of the company that hired them. If you take this to court, you will not even get to first base. Prosecutors, law enforcement agencies, etc do this stuff all the time. Bush and his border gestapo Dept of Justice dimwits gave a known drug smuggler a border pass, and jailed the two border guards who tried to arrest him. Moreover, there are at least two layers of protection between Obama and this incident. Layer one consists of the DHS agents who made this decision. Layer two is the DHS Secretary, Napolitano. These two layers need to be disciplined before going after Obama, and that won't happen. They will claim this is standard procedure, and it probably is.

Given the above, plus Obama's current approval numbers and MSM sycophantic support of him and his administration, not only will this dog not hunt, it won't even scratch fleas.

The surest way to get rid of Obama is to remove or cripple his support in Congress, and to keep blasting away at any and all policies that undermine our democracy, sovereignty, our rights under the Constituion, and our security. Don't wait until 2010. Start now by letting all in Congress who are up for re-election that their re-election depends on how they support US, not Obama. With falling support Obama will continue to expose himself, his popularity will continue to decline, and his MSM coverage may actually start to resemble journalism as opposed to press agent releases. If all of this happens, he should be defeated in 2012, and the damage he causes between now then can be limited.

Obama should never have been allowed to be seated as president! I have never been convinced, and never will be, that he is a LEGAL citizen of this country. I tracked him and did research on him from May of last year until now! His relatives in Kenya were so excited when he won the election that they were joyously proclaiming that a Kenyon was now president of the U.S.. They were soon muzzled! His grandfather who helped raise him and introduced him to his communist friends, was a major player in indoctrinating him in communism. When he left NYU and returned to Chicago he became a pupil of Saul Alinsky, a well known American communist. A wealthy friend of Alinsky, paid his way through Harvard. His birth certificate, grades from all schools he attended, and his activities at Harvard are ALL legally locked up! His father and step father were both muslim. He has never had a job other than shilling for Alinsky as the first time teacher of ACORN, voting rarely, except once, when he was the only member of the Illinois senate to vote for killing a baby that survived an abortion! He campaigned for Pres. the entire time he was a U.S. senator. I DID NOT VOTE FOR HIM AND PLEADED WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS NOT TO! Most of them did not, thank God! There are a whole host of things that he could be impeached on, including his behavior since he has been acting Pres. Its the Democrat Congress which will not consider it at this point and so many of them are left wing socialist that it will be very difficult, unless we start an armed march on Washington. This country has had over 60 years to get out of control and it is not going to be easy to get it back! Because we are a free country we allowed this ideology to be spread in schools via textbooks, and teachers who taught it, and the universities and colleges have been ramptant with it for years.

4th horseman, what you say is probably very true, but more and more trying to get things accomplished by way of our senators and congressmen is really tough. First of all it is almost impossible to get thru to these people and they play dirty games like what happened in CO this past week on the vote for in-state tutiition and one of the legislators was away for family emergency and planned to be back on Friday to vote which would have kept the bill from going to the senate, well they pushed the bill ahead so the vote would be uneven and got it thru. More and more they are blocking voicemail or emails. Another thing i keep hearing and i am really concerned about is voter fraud. if this stuff w/acorn is true it is very possible that obama shouldn't even be in the white house. he has strong ties to acorn and they can mess with the house election as well and keep all the demos in there and this nightmare will never go away.

i found this information on another site and it really pissed me off and i plan to contact king's office to find out more information but this is what i read on another site - Congressman Steve King of IA supposedly stated the following regarding the omibus bill just passed - The Transportation of HUD portion of the Omibus bill was allocated a $950,000 earmark going to LaRaza to be used for “capitalization of a revolving loan to be used for nationwide community development activities - taxpayer dollars should not be going to this organization which is a pro-amnesty program and we are funding them w/our taxpayer dollars - basically this is an “in-your-face act by congress."
