    shakes,

I'm 50 years old and raising 3 kids as a single father. What do you suggest I do, go back to school?

You can call them personal attacks or negative comments all you want, that doesn't make it true. Next thing you know, you'll be calling me a racist. If you don't realize the price that working class Americans pay on a DAILY basis, no amount of discussion will help you.

You will find that there are very few people here who support globalists or globalism. As for a solution, you asked for it, you got it.

TOTAL ISOLATIONISM! Everything China and India have, they got from greedy corporate globalists and their paid-for politicians. We built it first, we built it BEST, and we can do it again.

Pull ALL the troops from EVERY other country and defend THIS one.

Kick the UN out of the US so fast their asses pass their earlobes on the way out.

Withdraw from NAFTA, CAFTA and FTAA. Those BS agreements have done NOTHING for America or Americans.

    >>> First of all. Have I put out any negative remarks? If so, please quote me and I will apologize.

TOTAL ISOLATIONISM! Everything China and India have, they got from greedy corporate globalists and their paid-for politicians.

    >> That's a pretty broad statement, don't you think. Let's say it is true that everything China and India has, they got from greedy corporation. So what? They got it, they already got the fundamental technology and now they are fueling their economy and government w/ it.

Isolation? I guess you can believe that. But it is kind of funny how you think isolation would work when we are communicating on the INTERNET which is an ENABLER of GLOBAL trade. For ex. I can buy items outside of US much easier these days then before. The fact that you can't stop me from trading globally on the internet. How are you going to stop the millions who don't even talk to you here? Your solution is not a realizable one. So stop communication globally?

I guess my view or your view is irrelevant because none of us can stop globalism. Why? it's human nature to compete. As long as capitalism exist, trade routes just expand itself exponentially. Or you can hinder capitalism, the stimulant of US economy and technology. Then again, if you believe that, you may want to adopt a socialism as well.

    >> We built it first, we built it BEST, and we can do it again.
That's my point isn't it? I believe Americans could do it. Americans had a head start.

Shakes, your comments referrencing globalism shows that you're understanding of globalism is a bit shallow. Imho, that would lean towards the "negative".......also giving false information. Verify, verify, verify.

There are several different types of "globalism" that are in competition with one another.

Which one, Shakes, are you referring to? If, by any chance, you're not sure.........read a few more threads and you might gain some valuable knowledge enabling you to come to a decision with some meat instead of generalizations.

One other thing, Shakes, if you're goal is to STOP ILLEGAL ALIENS, then why not roll up your sleeves and jump in. You could be productive and help your country at the same time.

    >> That IS funny since the US is the primary financial contributer of UN. Why do you think US want to fund UN? Globalism?

No, you accused me of that.

That's a pretty broad statement, don't you think. Let's say it is true that everything China and India has, they got from greedy corporation. So what? They got it, they already got the fundamental technology and now they are fueling their economy and government w/ it.
Only buy selling their 'stuff' back to US! I'd say a 200% Tariff would slow that game down.

I can buy items outside of US much easier these days then before. The fact that you can't stop me from trading globally on the internet. How are you going to stop the millions who don't even talk to you here? Your solution is not a realizable one. So stop communication globally?
    See the above.

I guess my view or your view is irrelevant because none of us can stop globalism.
    Well, I can DIE TRYING!

Or you can hinder capitalism, the stimulant of US economy and technology. Then again, if you believe that, you may want to adopt a socialism as well.
Pull your head out of the sand, shakes. We've had socialism running rampant around here for 50 years. All designed to create a compliant population that would rather swallow a mouthful of **** than speak the word. Compliant little slaves to the good master corporation.

    A fascist PARADISE!

Shakes gave me a head ache reading his pro-amnesty speech...I'll be the first one to admit im not the smartest tool in the woodshed.Im pretty black and white on the way i see and view things. Ill also be the first one to admit i dont know much about global trading, and all that other stuff you mentioned. What i do know is that them Illegal Aleins crossing the border broke the law and they deserve no sympathy. They deserve a boot in the arse on thier way back to mexico.

I guess the negative mark meaning I didn't put out any negative attacks against anyone who disagree w/ me.

What I am trying to say is:
US is trading internationally and globally. There is not a thing I or you can do about it. So if we are trading and will continue to trade on global level, labor competition exists and will continue to exists. Any means to DETER competition is futile. There is always a better way of doing things, as someone who faces competition from China/India, am I worried? Not really, becuase I think companies just don't realize the real overhead of outsourceing is much larger than they think. However, yes I do agree, w/ manual labor, it is harder for Americans to differentiate themselves from others.

I jumped in the fight. I supported every action against illegal. I hate shopping and the biggest shopping day for me was May 1. I vote for representatives who are against illegal immigration. I am voting w/ my money by boycotting companies because it is the only power that I believe is meaningful.

Ummmm, not trying to stir the pot but you can indeed prevent communicating and buying over the internet internationally. Look at China. They do it. People go to jail there for using the internet in a manner against Chinese law.

    Amen PinstrawGuys,
I'd LOVE to see Shakes answer your question? What is a 35, 45, a 50 year old and older suppose to do?

How can we go back to school when we have mortages, car payments, kids to support, many of us are paying college tuitions for our own children. What do we do just drop everything quit our jobs, and to heck with our families.

Middle class Americans don't get a free ride, free college grants, loans and in state tuition programs, because we are too busy paying for the illegals to go to school, get food stamps, close down our hospitals, and lay around having their anchor babies.
