Secondly, everyone needs to calm down and act civil or you are going to start receiving notes about your bad behavior from me and my fellow moderators.

Also, we will ban a user for attacking others.
There are no immunities awarded in the real world, only on TV.

ALIPAC is going to remain a forum for civil and intellectual discussion. You want to mud-sling, gutter-talk and call others names, then go to another forum that allows that unruly and immature behavior. They are a dime a dozen on the net, just search for some profanity and you will find one.

    Rule Number 2

Conflicts: No personal attacks, threatening language, or personal information on the board. Calling other users names or attacking others will not be tolerated. Don't call other users names or apply labels to them that you can't substantiate (See Bayourod). Any information about private citizens or your personal info should not be placed on the open forum.

Thanks Dixie, I have had to recently monitor several discussions and warn posters because of this type of thing, without much success! Everyone please take note and if you are not familiar with the rules please read. If you are not happy with Alipacs rules, please find a forum more to your liking.

All I see when I see Obama is another liberal Democrat, who will also usher in amnesty. I see enormous government programs and the beginning of socialism. I don't necessarily see a black man ...really.

It seems to be the others out there who are excited about that aspect -- but not me. I know what I'm going to get with him - and I can't believe Americans are this dumb and foolish to let this guy in.

But, it seems they are...and we will all be paying for it dearly.

Believe me you'll know when Jesus returns ! I voted for Bush twice and it was because he has claimed to be a christian but it wasn't because I thought he was Jesus and I take offense of you saying that. I can't stand the way Bush is running this country but you know what I can't stand more, people that think whites are the majority and have all the rights but are too blind to relize it isn't white people that can have there own colleges and groups defending there rights. I love everyone because God loved me first but I am tired of being the 3rd class race

Everyone were created equal in the eyes of God !

I had a lady tell me recently, "I just feel so much safer with PRes. Bush in office = he's such a good Christian man."

I understand why some voted for him as we didn't have much choice either time - but the fact he said he was a Christian and used it over and over again - was a mark against him for me. It stank of hyprocrisy - to me.

But I couldn't hold my nose long enough to vote for either of them.

I understnad that and like I said he has lost all my respect for him as a man or a president, I look at it as the song Amazing Grace when it comes to bush ........ I once was blind but now I see

I had very high hope for this country in 2001 and the only reason I voted for him in 2004 was I COULDN'T or WOULDN'T vote for Kerry and around here its said if you don't vote you can't complain so I like to complain if I don't like something..lol

Talk about an assumptive statement! Do you have any idea how offensive that statement is,WMM?? You're making a blanket accusation based on nothing but your own belief, your own 'mindset'.

Your tone in this thread, WhatMattersMost, comes across as highly aggressive, and for the life of me I can't understand why. You sound as bad as those race-baiting hucksters Sharpton and Jackson. Was that your intent? If so, I've got a present for you...

Sandra I fully understand why people voted for Pres. Bush - I mean the alternative!!! In hindsight, may not look so bad - but who knows.

As for the old adage, 'if you don't vote, don't complain' - I don't buy that.
I don't care if I never cast a vote, I have a right to expect anyone that gets into office in this country - if only one person voted for him/her - to be an honorable, honest, American loving person. I may not get what I like, but I have a right to expect just basic honesty and working for the country.

    Voting is good -

Pinstrawguys I am not understanding that either -
