THE BOARD IS LEANING TO THE RIGHT

I am an extreme right wing nut bag, born from two peace loving hippies, you do the math, the fact is that they as well as I agree that this invasion is totally out of hand. There are many ideas we have in common and many we disagree on, that is what makes this country great. This is a cause in which we have common ground and can unite to send a message to these Elected Puppets. Big deal our values are a little different, we more than likely live very different lives, that being said, Drop The Rock and lets get something done. We can bicker about our ideas or we can join together and effect a change for the next generation.

I find this statement extremely ironic. You want to work together but just last night you called me a communist? We are on the same side but because you don't like my ideas about border control you resort to name calling and put downs. The thing is what drives us to make change should not be done out of revenge or hate, if that what drives us for change it will always end in failure. If 2 people living in the same house can't even agree on how to come about change how on earth do you think the United States can? We are made of up of different minds and different walks of life, why do you think the world at large is at odds with eachother? What drives me are my children, not hate but a real concern for their future. When they sit in a classroom with 3-4 , non english speaking illegals, when their class time is spent with the teacher trying her best to make sense to students who dont belong there in the first place instead of spending time giving the education that american born children deserve THAT DRIVES ME FOR CHANGE. When children of illegals have more rights to health care and a cheaper college education, that drives me. WE as a country have the duty to be civil towards others, change has to come but all people should be treated with respect and dignity. They should not be hated, they should not be looked down on but they should be made aware that rules and laws must be obeyed, therefore come here LEGALLY. Only you and I know what drove you to your conclusion to be for border control. In the future when you want to make your point with me, do it with facts, back up your argument with REAL IDEAS for change, something the AMERCIAN public can live with and agree with so that change can take place instead of being tied up in red tape and debates. When you have to resort to name calling and anger your point will never be made, your cause seems to be wrapped up in a lot of anger but nothing concrete. It is my right to have my opinion, it is my right to voice that opinion without being verbally attacked. The thing you forgot is that we are both on the same side, do not forget that.
FYI Infidel means to be a non-believer in Christ or a non believer....what on earth does AMERICANINFIDEL mean?

well it was sort of meant to be a wake up call for the americaninfidel who happens to be my fiance. We got into a debate last night after watching Bill O'reilly. I told him of an Idea I had about border control, made pefect sense to me, he proceeded to call me a communist. He never did give me an intelligent reason why my idea was so off base. Im a firm believer that if you believe in something and have a point to make then make it, and make it with facts,but name calling to me is just a defensive way to try to end a debate. So when americaninfidel (which by the way makes no sense to me, does this mean he is a non-believer in America?) left his post here this morning I was dumbfounded on his statement of lets all work together when infact he and I live together, are both Right Wingers and not even the 2 of us can come to an agreement on how to resolve the border issue but somehow in his post he thought that we could all just work together to get the job done.

You are right. Name calling does not solve much. I'm sorry you two are having a squable. Perhaps this issue is in your communication style at home and not a big differnce on the issues?

Regardless, I've never seen two lovers fight on this issue on our boards and Im not sure that would be a good plan.

I think people have the responsibility to be honest, his statement was hypocritical, thats all. I love him for many things but his politics are not one of them.
From what I see here on this site people debate and have their opinions, this is just one of those instances where you have 2 poeple who know eachother well and differ in their views.
BTW I enjoy the site, I just wish the white hate groups wouldn't use it as a link on their sites. It deflects from the efforts being made for a good cause!
