America "A Police State" doesn’t seem far off. I am all for ridding the internet from child porn, but we all know that they will use this information for those they just don’t like or those who don’t agree with their viewpoints. I am glad that King George's Reign we will be over in two years unless of course he declares himself emperor.


TIA is just another spy program to encourage everyone who comes in contact with you to spy on you. We think it is bad now, we wont even be able to look at our neighbors and laughter unless your one of the elite torturing the peasants.

I think you are SO RIGHT, jp. I've felt, all along, that this administration was EVIL and that we were living under a dictatorship but I think it's FINALLY becoming obvious to a LOT of people. Like you, I definitely want to stop any possibility of a child accessing these porn sites AND, if we had a different administration, I would actually BELIEVE that this was the TRUE REASON for this latest issue but, with this bunch, everything they DO is suspect. AND, we really have THREE MORE YEARS because a new President will not take office until January of 2009. It would be hard to IMAGINE how much damage will be done by then.

I just can't get overly excited about this. It seems that they are looking for porn peddlers or something from what the news here said. But in any event, haven't we all always knows that the internet is NOT a private means of communication?

If we are going to pay gov't officials to wade through the junk on line, I hope they come up with pearls of wisdom that will influence someone, somewhere to do the right thing.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I agree, I despise child porn and would love to see it come to an end, but this administration can't be trusted to tell the truth. How do we really know that child porn is what this freak and his administration is trying to monitor? How can we trust an administration that lied to the American public to get us into an unneccessary war so his coporate neocon buddies could profit? How can we trust an administration that sacrafices the lives of our very own citizens including those in the armed forces just so corporate shysters can pad their wallets? How can we trust an administration that has left our borders wide open and has accepted the invaders with open arms and promises to give them everything under the sun? How can we trust an administration that treats our economy like a running bar tab for clinical drunks? How can we trust an administration that open admits to spying on it's own people for whatever reason they can think of? Answer to all of this is you can't. We are suppose to have certain unalienable rights that this administration continues to trample on each and every day. To them the constitution is nothing more than a g-d damn piece of paper. They have been lying to us since day one. Everytime they breathe air they are lying. Lying is their religion. Please America wake up and stop allowing these dictators to take away our rights for whatever reason they see fit.

This has been discussed already, but is it any coincidence that as soon as this article hit the airwaves about Bush wanting to spy on google searches and people start getting into an uproar then it's "oh no Bin Ladens back"? Bin Ladens back after one year of silence? I don't buy it. A guy like that if he's alive and well isn't going to stay quiet for one whole day, let alone one whole year. I think this whole thing is fishy. Everytime people get upset at Bush and his poll numbers are in the toilet, this chump trumps up Bin Laden and acts like he's going to bring the apocolypse if we don't rally behind Bush and give in to what he wants. Is it any coincidence that this tape came up just a mere two weeks before the Patriot Act expires again? Talk about perfect timing for the gullible sheeple to get behind Bush to renew the Patriot Act so he can go about spying on more American citizens without as much as a wimper. Alot of people tell me they don't care if Bush spies on them because they have nothing to hide. Well you better care because what if this government hates you and wants to pin some BS on you to make you disappear. Don't think it couldn't happen? Think again. They already have the power to withhold US citizens indefinitely if they even have the slightest suspicion that you are doing something illegal.

I think Bin Laden is dead and has been dead for years. I don't care what the CIA thinks, I think this tape like all others is a fake. I really wish someone would launch an investigation as to what is really going on here.
