Are these the same children of illegals that have received a free education from that state? Free breakfasts and lunches? Have demanded in-state tuition and have taken the spots of legal Americans at those universities? Are these the kids?

GOOD PARENTS would never have taken a chance with their children's lives in the first place.

There's something very wrong with the thought process of a parent that risks a little one's life let alone even questioning whether they'd "leave them" indeffinitely. Mexico isn't Darfur {sp} 2006, Rwanda 1995 or Germany in 1945.

Sorry John_Lan, I do feel sympathy for children of any nationality but America needs to look out for it's own first. This isn't happening now it seems because America's poor are struggling, our middle class is shrinking, yet of the millions of illegal aliens flooding America every year they are abusing our social services and one big way they do this is through birthing anchor babies who then become automatic citizens and receive all types of welfare and draw other family members in too.

Americans cannot possibly take on the majority of poor from other nations without destroying our own; yet, it seems some think we should.

When an adult is sentenced for a crime in this country, the state does not support the kids that he/she may have..unless they are left without any parental guidance. Otherwise, THEY MUST LIVE WITH THE CRIMES THAT THEIR PARENTS HAVE COMMITTED. So if we apply that to the kids of illegal immigrants, logic would dictate that they be deported as well. Any crime that an adult commits in this country always affects their kids.

Im sorry..However any child that is over here "illegaly"..Should be sent back to their home country, with their parents. It's about family values. They are still in this country "illegaly" as a unit (family). Should be deported as one as well.

They still need to change policy on anchor babies. Any illegal that has given birth in the USA while here "illegaly". Their children should not be given immediate track to citizenship. If it is still allowed..Then they need to send the child home to their parents country. Until such time the child can come here as a adult, at a later date.

There was a story in the Austin Statesman today about a woman from Honduras who wants to bring her mother here. The INS is having DNA test done because she has no proof that it is her mother and neither of them have a picture of the 2 together. How close could they be???? The article indicated there is a lot of fraud of this sort. If she misses mommy so much maybe she should head south.

Anchor babies go back to their country with their law-breaking parents. They can be mad at their parents for making poor decisions. Let their own country take care of them as the abuse of social services for these anchor babies in this country is ridiculous. We american taxpayers are not responsible for the babies of people who sneak into our country and break our laws.
