Some of these guys ran with a strong immigration enforcement agenda.
Let's see if they're true to their word.

I called Costa's office (who is my Rep). I told the staffer I am adamantly opposed to both Flake-Gutierrez and McCain-Kennedy; and also AgJobs. Anything that provides legalization/amnesty to illegal immigrants. But he knows this and I'm sure he knows my name since I contact him 2-3 times a week one way or another. I can tell you he supports the AgJobs bill.

    Most important to learn:
Are they for or against the Flakey FLAKE/GUTIERREZ bill?
And........are they going to READ the 700 page monstrosity BEFORE the vote this time?

They might try to sidestep but it's important to hold their feet to the fire on this bill

I called Costa's office back. They say his postion right now is no position as it's a long Bill and he hasn't had a chance to review it. They expect many changes as it goes through the course of committees. And I further gave them my opinion on any form of amnesty.

They were thorough in checking my constituency status though.....asking my name, address, phone number. And asking if they could call me back in 5 minutes, which turned out to be one minute. Probably to confirm I was who I said I was.

I called John Salazar's, CO. today and I told the staffer I am opposed to both Flake-Gutierrez and McCain-Kennedy and any legislation that provides amnesty to illegal immigrants. I asked what Salazars position is on this bill. There was side stepping and the staffer said that Salazar had no position at this time and has not completely read the bill, but it is obvious that he is pro illegal on almost everything. You should see him Numbers USA report card.

I sent an email to Congressman Dan Boren, to vote not for any amnesty bill that comes to a vote in the house ! I also asked him to once again support Duncan Hunter in his investigation of the Dept of Justice concerning Ramos and Compeon, and to please watch America's Most Wanted Saturday night, the segment on the 2 guards and the deputy who was sentenced this month!

I think that the blue dog democrats can be our key to stopping any amnesty. We all know the senate is a tough battle for us. Our strength is in the H or R. If these blue dog democrats ran to the right of some of the repubs that lost, that can only be to our advantage. We need to concentrate on them.
Go to our activist pages, there is a canned letter that you can send/fax them that states you are a democrat, etc. Whether you are a democrat or not, it could help.

This bill is racist against Americans. It gives more rights to illegals than Americans have and no way are less than 20% of the population going to circumvent this nation's laws.

    Forgive me for being uninformed.
What is a blue dog democrat?
I need to know this before I can start calling.
