I think thats because it has not been a real big issue!! Our government knows what kind of an can of worms they open when anything to do with guns is out in the public. If you notice this is not very public, people are taking for granted this is an immigration Bill.

Like the Nazis the Gov will look up all the registered owners and confiscate their guns.

An unarmed populace is easy to control and what will you do when your neighbors start to dissappear?
