Absolutely, God bless States' Right - what few we have left.

I will assure you, if we still had states' rights,

there would be very few sanctuary cities.

There would be very few sites where illegals were congregated for day work.

There would be very few illegals in the school.

There would be very few illegals getting food stamps and other state welfare.

We could deal with the illegal in various ways - education, housing, no licenses, just a lot of ways.

And so forth and so on.

If we just had to convince our local governments what they are supposed to do, we could get something done. Instead we are having to deal with the behemoth of a federal government that is so slippery, we usually can't even get a good 'hold' on it.

Even when people in a state do vote and put in place a remedy for this, the federal government comes in and threatens them.

We are constantly told this is a federal issue. It is federal only as it pertains to protecting our borders and enforcing emmigration laws. There are a whole host of laws these people are violating, but our states are reluctant to try to enforce them. If they do, the federal government will come in and threaten them or sue them for 'housing descrimination', 'racial profiling' - any other bogus reason they have at their disposal.

So let's have some states' rights.

    States Rights!

    America First!

The federal government was never intended to be the monstrosity that it has become. I feel safe in saying that even Alexander Hamilton would be aghast. What we have today is one of the very things that Thomas Jefferson and other anti-federalist were concerned about.

To my knowledge the IRS turns a blind eye to illegals....unless they aren't paying taxes. If you pay taxes to the IRS, they really don't care what alias you use. The IRS just want the cash. If "Mickey Mouse" sent the IRS a check...they would cash it...no questions asked.

The ITN I believe was created to encourage illegals to pay taxes.

A small percentage do pay federal taxes utilizing the ITN. Most just use the ITN # to obtain other forms of ID or to complete other government forms (that require a ITN #) to obtain benefits.

So you have many illegals (millions) applying for and getting an ITN but at tax time the illegals don't file. They use the ITN to scam the system.

If law enforcement ever gets access to these records, and cross checks against other government agency databases, billions in fraud could probably be rooted out.

Here are the IRS instructions for an ITIN:

An ITIN, or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, is a tax processing number only available for certain nonresident and resident aliens, their spouses, and dependents who cannot get a Social Security Number (SSN). It is a 9-digit number, beginning with the number "9", formatted like an SSN (NNN-NN-NNNN).

To obtain an ITIN, you must complete IRS Form W-7, IRS Application for Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (PDF) . The Form W-7 requires documentation substantiating foreign/alien status and true identity for each individual. You may either mail the documentation, along with the Form W-7, to the Philadelphia Service Center, present it at IRS walk-in offices, or process your application through an Acceptance Agent authorized by the IRS. Form W-7(SP), Solicitud de Número de Identificación Personal del Contribuyente del Servicio de Impuestos Internos (PDF) is available for use by Spanish speakers.

Acceptance Agents are entities (colleges, financial institutions, accounting firms, etc.) who are authorized by the IRS to assist applicants in obtaining ITINs. They review the applicant's documentation and forward the completed Form W-7 to IRS for processing.

NOTE: You cannot claim the earned income credit using an ITIN.

Foreign persons who are individuals should apply for a social security number (SSN, if permitted) on Form SS-5 with the Social Security Administration, or should apply for an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) on Form W-7. Effective immediately, each ITIN applicant must now:

    *
Apply using the revised Form W-7, Application for IRS Individual Taxpayer Identification Number; and
    *
Attach a federal income tax return to the Form W-7.

Applicants who meet an exception to the requirement to file a tax return (see the instructions for Form W-7) must provide documentation to support the exception.

New W-7/ITIN rules were issued on December 17, 2003. For a summary of those rules, please see the new Form W-7 and its instructions.
Notice how they pander to the spanish speaking crowd.

This is unacceptable. The IRS is part of the federal government. How can we have laws against illegal immigration, yet make it possible for them to pay taxes? Can the IRS be charged with conspiracy to commit fraud?

They claim so many dependents that nothing but SS is taken out. Single guy with 9 dependents. Also, the guy that pays in cash, can report/write-off he paid more for the labor than he actually did. He's cooking his books too.

Well, they might pay SS if there using a Fake SS Number. With ITIN number. They don't pay Social Security. It State right on the IRS web site that the ITIN Number cannot be used for Socials Security.

Then if there using a Fake Social Security number. There more then likely using other peoples number. Which in turn, messes up there Social Security and lots of them. Have had there Social security wiped clean. For the Innocent to start over. Because of Illegal Aliens.

No, the IRS in NOT part of the federal government. Neither is the Federal Reserve of the US Postal Service. Each has a quasi-governmental status, but none of them are governmental agencies. The postal service was once part of the government, but has not been for some time.
