I cant help but have doubts.
The American People are giddy about
something being done.
Trump might just turn and do something like this:

That's not possible. He wants to implement these policies and do these things we want, because this is also what he wants and has wanted since at least the 1980's when I first saw him interviewed on these topics.

People were all giddy after the 2014 elections, too. That election got us a worse Congress than the one before this one. They were all very giddy over GWB's first election. We know what that brought us. There was much giddiness over Obama's election. No comment needed. The giddiness of Reagan's election seemed to be universal except me. My son died as a result of his election.

Yes, Nkosi. I, too, all this week have been thinking too much of a good thing too soon! History in my lifetime shows that elections won that way are not great for Americans. I suggest it needs slowing down, but I do not think Trump will purposely hurt us.

I'm hoping he's genuine but if the past is any measure, I must keep my guard up until he does what he says. Is it wrong to reserve your hope and trade it in when "the goods" are delivered.

This is like something that is too good to be true. Some have stated that Trump is a very good friend of the Clintons. His purpose is to escort Hillary to the WH by fragmenting the Republican vote.

I'll vote but I hold no allegence to any party.

Oh absolutely not! We should all be skeptical of everything and everyone. This is a time in US history where the masses actually know more about the details of what is needed than the candidates or officials.

Any politician can renege. Trump at least is really putting his foot in it.

We have undeniable evidence that our system of Checks and Balances does not work in this age. We have proof from the election of 2014 that you cannot in any way rely upon the word of republican politicians, especially if they tell you what you want to hear. WE sure cannot afford any error on the Presidential election! None at all!!
