    Riots in Ferguson Missouri!
VIDEO: Footage of people destroying a gas station following the vigil for Mike Brown, an unarmed 18 year old who was fatally shot by police.
Seeing as the situation probably will get worse before it gets better, how should Missouri handle this crisis?

    MISSOURI MAYOR: LOOTERS WERE OUT-OF-TOWNERS

'People started driving in from other areas to steal stuff'

    Published: 8 hours ago
    GINA LOUDON

WATCH THE VIDEOS AT THE LINK.

The mayor of Ferguson, Missouri, says many of the people who smashed, looted, burned and destroyed in the aftermath of protests following a fatal police shooting of a teenager were out-of-towners.

“Once the vigil dispersed the people who showed up saw their numbers and got really brave, then people started driving in from other areas to steal stuff,” Mayor James Knowles told WND.

“A lot of the people aren’t even from our town, but they came in and stole from our businesses and left our town in ruins, and made it look like there are racial tensions here that simply aren’t what they made them out to be. Such a shame that we have people with an axe to grind, coming here to grind it,” he said.

His comments as the town approached its second night since the fatal shooting of Michael Brown, 18, whose death remained under investigation with a lot of the details still unclear.

How would you characterize race relations in America today? Sound off in today’s WND poll.

WND had reported about the chaos that erupted late Sunday as protests over the police shooting resulted in 32 arrests and two injured officers.

Brown, a recent high school graduate, was in a struggle over a police officer’s gun when he was shot, according to officials.

But his mother, Lesley McSpadden, rejects the official version and wants the officer who fired the lethal shots to receive the death penalty.

“We want that cop fired!” cried one protester.

“We ain’t gonna’ hurt ya’, we just want the police to feel our pain,” said another to Fox 2 local news.

Knowles said hackers demanding city action crashed the city’s email system.

“They have targeted the police chief and me as the mayor of the town. It is very disheartening to know that people who have no first-hand knowledge of our city are doing this,” he said.

“A great source of pride for us is how we have integrated this community. Our racial relations are peaceful and we work well together, regardless of color. It is sad that these uninformed hackers have to exacerbate what is already a difficult time for our city. It infuriates me that they play on a tragedy in an effort to incite people’s sensibilities nationwide.”

There was, however, a major race dispute injected into the local controversy immediately.

Multiple Twitter users said the looting was a negative for the community – because it needed to be done in “white” neighborhoods.

“Smh they tearing up their own neighborhood instead of terrorizing the white neighborhoods..loot,burned down and rob them, not your own,” said Madam Nori.

“N—– in St. Louis need to go to the white people’s area and start looting,” wrote “Groovy.”

Another anonymous contributor wrote, “I simply wish black folk would riot white neighborhoods.”

EastSide said, “You tearing down yo own community like what ? At least go mess up the white neighborhoods stuff !!!!!!”
Knowles said the St. Louis county police department is reviewing the case.

Reports suggest the officer and Brown had a conflict, and the shooting happened almost immediately. Questions remain over whether Brown apparently had a toy gun, or whether he was trying for the officer’s gun.

He said early Monday it was quiet.

“Clergy asked troublemakers to disperse,” he said.

Among locations looted were Walmart, Family Dollar and Kmart, officials said.

SWAT teams of officers were in place, but rumors that tanks were dispatched were not correct, he said.

“I want the nation to know that this is not indicative of St. Louis or my city. We hope people will recognize that we are a great town with a great history of working together. This isn’t the Watts riots. People shouldn’t try to lump this together,” he said.
Ferguson is about 21,000 people about 10 miles from downtown St. Louis. A majority is black, with median income of about $37,000, less than the state average.

Video footage showed looters carrying cases of beer and other items into the street, despite the family of Brown calling for calm during their time of grief.

The violence comes on the heels of many accusations in recent months of police brutality. One woman claimed police were using mace and dogs to quiet children who were vocal participants in the protests. Others insist the police are doing their best under the circumstances.

Organizers of a website called Operation Ferguson made demands and threats directed at Ferguson authorities.

The international “hacktivist”organization “Anonymous” has demanded that Congress introduce a bill called “Mike Brown’s Law” to enact strict national standards for police conduct. They further demand that the new law “grant the victims of police violence the same rights and prerogatives that are already enjoyed nationwide by the victims of other violent criminals.”
Anonymous called on residents of Ferguson to “occupy every square inch” of their city and help the protesters in any way they can.

    The group also issued threats.

Anonymous vowed that if protesters are harmed in any way, it will “take every web based asset” of the government offline. It further said that if the protesters were attacked, it would “release the personal information on every single member of the Ferguson Police Department” and any others involved.

Anonymous ominously closed with: “We are Anonymous – We are Legion – We will not forgive – We will not forget.”
The group charged in a statement that the police “shot an unarmed teen six times and killed him.”
“His body was left to lie in a pool of blood in the sweltering heat for hours while the police militarized the area against protesters and attempted to concoct a reasonable story as to why they snatched this innocent students (sic) life.”

Total Breakdown In Less Than 24 Hours: Images and Videos of Missouri Riots and Looting

Over the weekend a police officer shot and killed a teenager in Ferguson, Missouri. While the circumstances of the incident are still unclear, what is clear is that our seemingly stable society is just hours away from a total breakdown given the right trigger event.

Within a few hours of the incident residents of the town began assembling, a move that drew a quick response from law enforcement, who set up police lines. Some came geared up with riot masks, shields and rifles.

The crowd was getting fired up:

Fox News: “There is a lot of looting going on”

The incident in Ferguson, Missouri is a wake up call to those who think that law enforcement and emergency responders will be there to help in the midst of an emergency. Granted, this took place in a town of 20,000, so we are looking at a limited example of how chaotic it would be.But can you imagine what such a breakdown might look like in a major metropolitan area like Houston, Los Angeles or New York? And imagine if it was a real emergency – not a riot resulting from a shooting, but a widespread cyber or EMP attack. Within hours of the event grocery store shelves would be looted and completely empty. Police response would be non-existent.In Anatomy of a Breakdown Tess Pennington, author of The Prepper’s Blueprint, explains that when the worst happens you’ll have only yourself and those close to you to depend on:
Learn to be self-sufficient and rely on yourself. When it is all said and done, you are the only one who can care for yourself and your family the best. You will be the one who has your family’s best intentions at heart. Having a stock of your family’s favorite canned or dry goods, a supply of water and a simple medical kit can maintain your basic needs for a short-lived disaster. This simple preparedness supply could set you apart from the unprepared.

Moreover, as we saw in the videos above, crowds are unpredictable and they are violent, which means you need to be prepared to defend yourself and your home. The Ferguson riots will more than likely blow over in short order. But, as the after effects of Hurricane Katrina and other recent events demonstrate, Black Swan events happen regularly. One day it may well affect your city, state, or the entire country as a whole. If you’re not ready for it, then your options will be limited to joining the looters at your local grocery store, or dying without the basic supplies you need to stay alive.

Video: Cop Aims Gun at Local Official as Ferguson Resembles “War Zone”

Police shut down entire town to keep media out

by Paul Joseph Watson | August 12, 2014

Cops pointed guns at a St. Louis official and attempted to shut down the entire town during a second night of riots in Ferguson, Missouri last night in scenes that resembled a martial law takeover, with one police officer describing the area as a “war zone.”

The video, shot by Antonio French, Alderman of the 21st Ward, shows raucous protesters outside the QuickTrip store that was looted and set on fire on Monday night in response to the police shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown.

SWAT vehicles, LRAD sound cannons, dogs, tear gas and smoke grenades are all on show as police march down the highway shooting rubber bullets at demonstrators.

The video then cuts to a parking lot where police wearing riot gear with their faces covered order French to “get the f**k out of here.” One of the cops aims a gun directly at French.

According to French, police attempted to shut down the whole town in order to prevent the media from documenting events. Photographer David Carson also said that he was threatened with arrest and ordered to leave the scene.

Tensions are high in Ferguson Mo tonight. Rest assurred this is not just a St Louis problem. Militarized law enforcement all around America are frightening many Americans.

America was once a great nation that stood for independence and liberty.

American’s used to fight for for what was right, and fight for their liberties and their beliefs. Now however slowly, American’s, fearfull of repercussions, sit ideally by and watch as their rights are stripped away, as their cities are turned into war zones.

It has already been said to me that this is a East St Louis problem, not a Ferguson problem, to that I ask, does crime have city limits? Do birds of a feather flock together? Please, don’t be so simple! By Their action you shall know them. Make no mistake, this is not a racial problem, this is an American problem.

32 people were arrested last night after chaotic scenes sparked by the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown, who was gunned down after an altercation with police on Saturday night despite being unarmed.Numerous stores were looted, one was set ablaze and rioters fired guns at officers during disorder that stretched into the early hours of the morning. Mobs gathered to chant “kill the police” as authorities were forced to dismiss rumors that the National Guard was to be brought in.

An image of one of the looters wearing a Trayvon shirt serves as a reminder that the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial, which sparked a heated race debate across America, was followed by acts of looting and violence in several different areas of the country.

After the store was looted it was set ablaze.

The family of Michael Brown responded to the unrest by saying they were “absolutely furious” and that the looting only served to disrespect the memory of their deceased son.

However, some local residents defended the disorder, asserting it was a legitimate form of protest.“This is exactly what is supposed to be happening when an injustice is happening in your community,” DeAndre Smith told the St. Louis Post-DIspatch, adding: “You have kids getting killed for nothing.”

Many have questioned why the residents of Ferguson felt the need to loot local businesses owned and run by people in their own community, asking why rioters chose to storm the sporting goods store rather than the police station.

Smith warned that the rioting was not over, hinting that more unrest was to come.“I don’t think it’s over honestly,” he said. “I just think they got a taste of what fighting back means.”
