Thread: FAR-FETCHED IDEA or A REAL POSSIBILITY ?

This is undoubtedly a far-fetched idea, but here goes anyhow:

If you recall the events surrounding the impeachment of Bill Clinton revolving around the Monicagate thing, then you will recall how many Republicans had their own little secrets exposed by the likes of the publisher of Hustler Magazine.

Now it seems to be happening again. Frist not long ago was accused of stock fraud of some type. Hastert has recently been "under investigation by the FBI" according to ABC. Tom DeLay was accussed of improper use of lobbyists' proffers along with his wife's use of travel or something. Karl Rove is under investigation, too.

Then there's GWB. It seems to me that he acts like someone who's being blackmailed. OK, that's the far-fetched part because we know he's been trying to push this amnesty idea for years. But think back to May 15. Didn't he seem to be sweating a little more than usual? Didn't he seem to sit a little more rigidly than normal? Didn't he act as if he were being manipulated like a puppet?

Perhaps someone is blackmailing him. Just a thought,,,,,,,,,,,

I believe that is what Washington politics is built upon these days....... wonder what kind of stories lobbyists could tell being that the wine and dine these guys and really see them loosened up?

I definitely think there is alot more to this story than we know. It looks like the senate and the president are afraid of something. They made the comment during this debate that the U.S. chamber of commerce said, they would only support this bill if something was in it, I think the amnesty. I can't remember if it was a senator or a house woman that said, We can't lose all our businesses, meaning in the country. I think corporate america is running washington.

Thank you for the update on Hastert. I forgot about the files the Clintons had and then they suddenly reappeared. Yeah, right. So there is lots of room for blackmail, arm-twisting, threats, and so forth. I agree that the new world order is the driving force here. Or at least the "ability" to compete with the European Union. Apparently, then, the betrayal of the American people and the dissolution of the USA as we've known it for over 200 years is just another way to get their hands on even more money and power? And then what? What is the absolute ultimate goal? Something like the pharoahs had: a living "god" on earth? Or what and why? How much is enough for these people?

Speaking of businesses the Social Security Administration has a list of the top 100 businesses that hire illegals. They should release the names under the freedom of information act but I'm sure they would say there is an ongoing investigation. One of the businesses used the same # for over 2500 employees. I'd like to see these names made public, because these are the businesses that should be boycotted.

I think the White House is blackmailing members of the US Senate.

I think Bush who might be blackmailed is also just plain insane.

This is his agenda....has been all these years....we just didn't know it. This was his Dad's agenda....things just weren't at this stage when Bush One was in office...but he started NAFTA....and his Sonny Boy is rapidly implementing the others...CAFTA and many more.

We are just seeing Bush Two for who he really was all along.

Please elaborate. What is the grand plan then, if not competition with the EU? That's the excuse I believe GWB used a few years ago. But you're correct, the EU isn't doing too well under the socialist agenda of most European nations.
