free cheese faction stifles Obamcare repeal

See Obamacare Repeal Fails: Three GOP Senators Rebel in 49-51 Vote

    7/28/17

”Three Republican senators — John McCain, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski — and all Democrats voted against the bill, dealing a stinging defeat to Republicans and President Donald Trump who made repeal of Obamacare a cornerstone their campaigns.”

Well, look at the voting record of the 51 who voted against a mere “skinny repeal” of Obamacare, and it vindicates our founders’ refusal to grant power to Congress over the “social needs” of the people within the various United States.

The sad truth is, our founders warned us about the dangers of factions and why they avoided granting power to Congress over those objects which “…in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State.” See Federalist Number 45.

By limiting our federal government’s responsibilities to such matters as war, peace, the regulation of commerce with foreign nations, i.e., ___ those items which are enumerated beneath Article 1, Section 8, Clause 1 __ our founders avoided the danger of creating countless factions on a federal level by denying power to the federal government to meddle in the social needs of the people within the various states, and they intentionally left those matters within the jurisdiction of each state and people therein.

But now, with this separation of powers having been breached by Congress and countless “entitlements” having been unconstitutionally created to satisfy the personal economic needs of the people within the various state borders, our national unfunded debt liability is an estimated $125 TRILLION, while our free cheese factious groups account for The Largest Item In The Federal Budget!

Have we not witnessed our federal government being reduced to a state of paralysis brought on by countless free cheese factions whose interests have nothing to do with our federal government’s constitutionally assigned duties? And who are some of these factious groups who have cause a paralysis in Congress? Federally subsidized health-care recipients; federally subsidized food stamp recipients; federally subsidized Section Eight Housing recipients; federally funded unemployment benefit recipients; federally funded student loans and grant recipients; and millions of foreigners who have invaded America’s borders who are also the recipients of free government cheese. These are just a few of our nations free cheese factious groups who have brought our federal government to the brink of bankruptcy.

If we don’t reverse our federal government’s tax-payers vs tax-getters redistribution policies, we will surely suffer the same fate as Venezuela, Chile, the UK, and other socialist countries which, instead of protecting the people’s inalienable right to succeed or fail at their own hand, have decided to use government force to steal the product of one person’s labor which is then transferred to another group to be used for their personal economic needs, which is an immoral use of government force.

John Adams was absolutely correct when he wrote: "democracy will envy all, contend with all, endeavor to pull down all; and when by chance it happens to get the upper hand for a short time, it will be revengeful, bloody, and cruel..."

We are now witnessing what our founders intentionally sought to prevent when they limited our federal government’s authority to such matters as war, peace, the regulation of commerce with foreign nations, i.e., ___ those items which are enumerated beneath Article 1, Section 8, Clause 1, and they do not include the social needs of the people within the various states.

Millions of citizens have lost their health-care insurance and doctors under Obamacare, and many more millions now cannot use Obamacare because of Obamacare’s outrageous premiums and deductibles. Repeal and replace Obamacare with nothing, and repeal McCarran-Ferguson.

Mitch McConnell open to bipartisan [sell out] plan to keep Obamacare alive

See McConnell to consider bipartisan plan to pay health insurers

”McConnell told reporters Saturday there is "still a chance" the Senate could revive the measure to repeal and replace "Obamacare," but he acknowledged the window for that is rapidly closing.

The Kentucky senator noted Republican Sen. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee is working on "some kind of bipartisan approach" that would involve subsidies for insurance companies.”

Let us not forget Obamacare was carefully crafted to tax hard working American Citizens __who were happy with their health-insurance and doctors___, to subsidize insurance companies so millions of able bodied but unproductive people could receive health-care. And now, Mitch McConnell is willing to continue taxing hard working American Citizens to provide health-care to the able bodied and lazy including illegal entrants, instead of allowing Obamcare to collapse on its own and following our Constitution which nowhere grants a power to Congress to enter the states and meddle in the people's health-care needs and choices.

I wonder how much Mitch McConnell has been paid by the insurance industry to carry water for them.

Obamacare by consent of the governed, Article 5, our Constitution`s amendment process. Tyranny by a majority vote in Congress or a Supreme Court's majority vote

Of course, there are always those who want the freebies and our government has gotten more and more people addicted or hooked on it.

The congresscritters, however, are not listening to these people. They are listening to the people who come with the goodies for them and their families. They listen to the healthcare corporations, the insurance companies, the pharmaceutical companies. Rather than 'free cheese', they listen to big agribusiness and chemical companies.

These people come with money. They come with insider stock tips. They come with guaranteed admission and scholarship to that prestigious school for the children and grandchildren. They come with job offers after 'public service'. They come with a seat on corporate boards for wives and children or jobs for those family members. They come with great financing for that home the lawmaker wants. They come with government contracts for family and friends.

Possibly/probably, they come with a reminder of the skeletons in the closet of this lawmaker or his/her family.

In other words, the money men know these congresscritters inside and out - they know what buttons to push.

It really isn't the 'free cheese' group who makes the decision.

Actually, I would feel better if I could believe it. In that case, we might actually be able to do something about it. The people, however, simply can't fight the flow of money, privilege or threats for the lawmakers.

We need term limits - now. It wouldn't stop all this, but it might slow it down.
