Does anyone know how quickly results are expected to be tabulated?
Since it's a special election I would expect it should be a quick tally....but I don't know how they do things in CA.
Here's the Election Results website if you missed it in the previous post.

Those appear to be absentee ballots. Unfortunately they aren't breaking for Jim....which is not a good sign. It's likely that the election results will somewhat mirror these results...and the gap between Jim and the front runner is so wide...will be hard to close.
I really hope I'm wrong though...but I don't think so.

Yes it's true. There is an old saying even in races where there are very few absentee ballots.
"As the early ballots go, so goes the election"
Things may turn around but we all knew the risks of Jim running as a 3rd Party candidate. That really moves the odds against a candidate at this time in America.

Anything above 20% of the vote is a victory...trust me on this. Historicaly, 3rd party candidates rarely get more than 10-15% of the local vote...and thats when most folks were REALY PISSED.
GO JIM!
20% or bust!!!It's true I am only one, but I am one. And the fact that I can't do everything will not prevent me from doing what I can do

No matter what, he is a true American hero. I just hope he knows how much he is appreciated by so many people. Besides, once a state is so far gone, as California is, just like Florida, it's HARD to get them back.
This is why it is imperative for other states to save this country.
Jim Gilchrist is very much a hero, tonight's results will have no impact on that fact.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

To bad if he loses.
I don't know how 20% would be considered a victory, though.
Didn't he poll low teens in the first election??

Looks like the Senate will shove an amnesty down our throats without the House anyway.
The house will pass some irrelevent bill that begins planning border security in 10 years, with the Senate bill granting INSTANT amnesty to all.

9:45pm California, only 16% in! I just hope that Campbell wins its less than 50% because that will send a message and the numbers dont look good already.
