No big deal Cayla.
I do know that private gun ownership is illegal in Mexico and Mexico loves to complain that the cartels are getting their weapons from the US but most of their weapons are from overseas and sold by terrorist groups who probably get a good deal on the drugs they buy and sell in Europe and the Mideast. The problem is global and not just confined to our border with Mexico.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Cayla typed: "Read the newspapers, the druglords are not fighting this using water pistols. Trust me, they have guns."
Why are they fighting in the first place ? It's a disagreement between the drug cartels and the government over dividing up the drug profits. A cabal of government ministers wants more of the take and the cartels are willing to challenge the government in the streets - with guns blazing - to maintain their share...
F'Chrissake - how in the HELL bad does it have to get before the masses stop cowering down there and take it back ? They are like spectators at the descent of their corrupt country into anomie...
That's what pisses off many of us -- they run rather than fight for themselves. Americans are not the type to cut and run when that sort of thing happens -- we never have.
Until they fight for themselves, they'll only be regarded with contempt by many of us for slithering out of their own country trying to get a free ride here. AND there are many willing to hand over considerable parts of our wealth to a foreign Victim Class.I can read writin' and write readin' so the Liberals among us are in BIG trouble...

Alot of these guns are coming from Mexican Armories which the Zetas have access to from corrupt Mexican army officials, some are even built in mexico. The bulk of Post Soviet & Chi-Com weapons are coming from mexico's southern border according to Intel sources.
