It is true, by law, that abortions aren't to be federally funded. However, even though they aren't funded directly, I think most of us know they are funded indirectly. Federal money allows the organization to free up money for the abortions. So basically without federal funding there would be no funding for the abortions.

Again, that isn't true either! The primary source of federal money paid to Planned Parenthood is Medicaid money for health issues. Their clinics are regulated by both the state and federal government. They bill for reimbursement the same as any doctor, clinic or hospital would do, detailing what was done. They're subject to verification, audits and investigations just like any Medicaid provider.

The girls and women who use Planned Parenthood to have their abortion procedures performed have to pay for them. Planned Parenthood has never provided them for free, unless it was a Medicaid case of rape, incest or to save the mother's life. Girls and women pay for their own abortions and always have, so what you''re saying is just another lie swarmed by what has become an extremely fanatical and dishonest Pro-Life Movement that is rapidly losing all credibility and decency.

Actually it is true ....... and that is all I'm going to say about that.

Some lawsuits have already been filed against David Daleiden, Center for Medical Program by the National Abortion Federation and StemExpress.. It was through the court orders that required delivery of all the footage that the lies were exposed.

Courts rule Daleiden must turn over documents, video footage

Two courts have ruled in as many days that anti-abortion activist David Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress must turn over private documents and submit to questions about how they orchestrated their video sting of Planned Parenthood.

The rulings could require Daleiden to turn over paperwork and details of his operation, such as how he got into National Abortion Federation conferences. They also say he must provide the full, raw footage he collected of some of his meetings while posing as an executive of a fictitious tissue procurement firm.

Opponents hope that those could show that he violated laws to obtain footage.

The videos, which purport to show that Planned Parenthood makes a profit from selling fetal tissue from aborted fetuses — allegations the women's health provider denies — have set off a furor and led to calls to strip the group of government funding.

A three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday upheld a lower court's decision to require the group to participate in discovery, the legal process of collecting data from the other party.

The ruling was made in a case brought by the National Abortion Federation that has prevented Daleiden from releasing footage captured at the group's convention. But a final ruling has yet to be made.

In a separate case against CMP brought by StemExpress, the tissue procurement company featured in some of Daleiden's videos, a judge in the Los Angeles Superior Court said Tuesday that Daleiden has to turn over documents in that case as well.

The ruling allows StemExpress — which worked with Planned Parenthood clinics before becoming embroiled by the scandal — to obtain documents, communications and certain unedited footage from the Center for Medical Progress.

During a May 22 lunch meeting in which they posed as representatives of a tissue procurement company, Daleiden and an associate only identified as “Susan Tennenbaum” obtained footage involving StemExpress CEO Cate Dyer. The anti-abortion group has maintained the meeting was not confidential and was lawfully recorded — something StemExpress has disputed.

The decision gives StemExpress the ability to subpoena Holly O’Donnell, a former employee who is prominently featured in several CMP videos. StemExpress can also obtain communications between Daleiden and O’Donnell, and the unedited versions of every recording involving the former StemExpress employee.

In the videos, CMP relies heavily on interviews with O’Donnell to make some of the most serious allegations against Planned Parenthood and StemExpress, including that she saw co-workers collect fetal tissue after a Planned Parenthood patient declined to give consent.

The company can also obtain depositions from several individuals, including Daleiden and CMP’s corporate representative, who is not identified in the court documents.

Daleiden's spokesman did not immediately comment on the rulings. His lawyers have the option of appealing the 9th Circuit decision to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Forensic Analysis: Planned Parenthood Videos Are ‘Authentic’

A forensic analysis of undercover videos about Planned Parenthood’s abortion practices are “authentic and show no evidence of manipulation or editing,” according to a report released Tuesday by Alliance Defending Freedom.

The analysis was completed by Coalfire, a digital security and forensics firm that has worked on civil and criminal investigations. The firm had access to all audio and video investigative footage recorded by the Center for Medical Progress.
“The Coalfire forensic analysis removes any doubt that the full length undercover videos released by Center for Medical Progress are authentic and have not been manipulated,” said Casey Mattox, senior counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom. “Analysts scrutinized every second of video recorded during the investigation and released by CMP to date and found only bathroom breaks and other non-pertinent footage had been removed.”

According to the report, the videos only omit footage irrelevant to the allegations such as bathroom breaks.

“Planned Parenthood can no longer hide behind a smokescreen of false accusations,” Mattox said, “and should now answer for what appear to be the very real crimes revealed by the CMP investigation.”
“American taxpayer money should be redirected to fund local community health centers and not subsidize a scandal-ridden, billion-dollar abortion business,” Kerri Kupec, legal communications director for Alliance Defending Freedom said in a statement.

“Planned Parenthood is an organization that cares about one thing: making a profit at the expense of women’s health,” she added. “The investigative videos, whose authenticity was confirmed by the report, show that Planned Parenthood is an abortion-machine whose top executives and doctors haggle and joke about the harvesting and selling of baby body parts. Women deserve far better.”

Spokespersons for Planned Parenthood have denied illegal conduct. Last month, the organization commissioned their own analysis of the videos which claimed that the “edited” videos “have no evidentiary value in a legal context and cannot be relied upon for any official inquiries.”

The Daily Signal previously reported that the firm hired by Planned Parenthood, Fusion GPS, has ties to the Democratic Party, including an effort to expose a group of eight private citizens who donated to a super PAC supporting former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign.
