I don't understand how these news agencies can be so irresponsible. It takes so little research these days to get to the bottom of something like this before you print or air it. In the edited version of the tapes recording the conversations with some people from Planned Parenthood, they had cut out the fact that the type of procedure done to remove body parts can't even be done at a Planned Parenthood facility and Planned Parenthood lawyers have never approved them being a middleman for these types of transfers so they don't do those, just fetal tissues, not parts, for research.

Well, they could be sued anyway--even if they never printed a word. The question to ask is whether or not a suit would be successful. The answer is a near definite no. The claimant in a lawsuit against a journalist must show that the journalist both knew the information to be incorrect and acted maliciously. This is very hard to do.

Yes, I'm sure it is difficult to do. But it becomes malicious when you have every reason to suspect it, don't investigate or verify it, know or learn that it's false, and fail to report the truth after you've run a lie you knew or should have know was one. CNN for example would be exonerated, because while they published the initial reports without investigative journalism, they then subsequently investigated, and even interviewed the perpetrator disseminating the false information and secured the truth out of him on LIVE TV, all the while "forensic experts" working for the Pro-Life Movement were still claiming they were true.

I believe the Center for Medical Progress actually violated medical privacy laws publishing these undercover films at hospitals without the permission of the hospital or the woman. The photo of the stillborn, I mean, that's like someone sneaking into a mortuary and shooting pictures of corpses, blasting videos of them all over the internet and networks plucking them off the internet and running them as news. It's unbelievable.

In any event, the truth is out and people and press will do with it what they want.

At least the National Abortion Federation and StemExpress have filed suits, and rightly so.

The pro-life activists who accused Planned Parenthood of selling the human remains of the unborn were charged by California prosecutors Tuesday with recording people without consent during the undercover investigation into the nation’s largest abortion provider.

David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt of the Center for Medical Progress were charged with 15 felonies by state Attorney General Xavier Becerra.

“The right to privacy is a cornerstone of California’s Constitution, and a right that is foundational in a free democratic society,” Mr. Becerra said in a statement. “We will not tolerate the criminal recording of confidential conversations.”

The pro-life activists are charged with criminal conspiracy to invade privacy and 14 counts of filming people without their permission in Los Angeles, San Francisco and El Dorado counties.

Mr. Daleiden disputed the charges and said they were brought by “Planned Parenthood’s political cronies.”

He also pointed out that similar charges brought by Houston prosecutors in response to his investigation were thrown out.

“The bogus charges from Planned Parenthood’s political cronies are fake news,” Mr. Daleiden said in a statement. “They tried the same collusion with corrupt officials in Houston, TX and failed: both the charges and the DA were thrown out.”

The Center for Medical Progress published 12 secretly recorded videos in 2015 showing top executives at Planned Parenthood and others in the abortion industry discussing the sale of fetal tissue from abortions.

The videos built momentum behind an effort to defund Planned Parenthood that could be realized by the Republican-controlled Congress this year.

As a part of the undercover investigation, Mr. Daleiden and Ms. Merritt posed as officials at a fake fetal tissue procurement firm called BioMax and used fake government identification.

Kamala Harris, now a Democratic U.S. senator, began the investigation into the Center for Medical Progress when she was California attorney general. To replace her after her 2016 election, Gov. Jerry Brown picked Mr. Becerra, who had been was a Democratic member of the U.S. House and part of the caucus’s leadership team.

Mr. Daleiden accused the former attorney general of conducting a raid of his apartment in April, during which he said authorities unlawfully seized video footage related to the Planned Parenthood investigation.

The pro-life activists were also charged with felonies by Houston prosecutors for tampering with government records. Those charges were dropped in July.

We have local, state and federal employees and elected officials breaking the laws everyday. They sell our country out constantly. They protect the people who come here and are not only destroying our society and economy - but our very lives.


We have our government intelligent community actually spying on a President and President elect.

Yet, nothing is done about it.

A group does what many journalists do and goes undercover to collect information. They divulge some practices those organizations do not want the public to know and it seems everyone wants to try to prosecute them.

We even had an official in Texas charge them with using fake documents. This official is in a city in Texas that is overrun with illegals and thugs that are using fake documents. Wouldn't it be nice if they were as interested in charging all those criminals?

Some things don't compute.
