03-07-2006, 10:13 AM #32You can disagree with Hannity all you like, but we should all remain respectful for what he did during the battle of Free Republic and he was one of the ONLY major media personalities to join the Minutemen at the Border. Please support our fight against illegal immigration by joining ALIPAC's email alerts here https://eepurl.com/cktGTn

03-07-2006, 11:08 AM #33Lou Dobbs went to Tombstone during the MM in April 2005. Technically I don't know if Dobbs went to the physical border, but he did indeed cover the MM on his show and went to Tombstone.
I don't know if anyone realizes this or not but there was a major effort going on behind the scenes to get all that publicity for the MMP from all the news media. I, personally wrote to at least 75 local and national broadcast stations to make sure that those people, headed to AZ to sit on a desolate border and face the unknown, would be safe from not only attacks by the threat of violence from across the border but from provocation by American groups like the ACLU and others who always manage to find a way to stir up trouble at the worst possible moment.
The MMP was intended to focus the attention on the border. I think it was a huge success. I consider it sort of an "awakening." It was when American citizens banded together behind a common cause to prove that we CAN make a difference.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
