Saki, for me this is dead-on, except I have one friend like this, not two.
Just this week, I sent the "We the People Stimulus Package" video. If you haven’t seen it, you should. I learned about here:

His responses were "I just don't have the stomach to wade through incoherent babble" and "The video link was incoherent".

He makes a lot of money and pays lots of taxes. Tonight he was complaining about the real estate taxes that go to the schools. Neither of us has kids, so I said that our taxes would be lowered if we got rid of illegal aliens and their children. I think his response was something like “You’re an idiot.â€
