Helen Aguirre Ferré: Donald Trump Has Not Engaged in ‘Hispandering’ like Hillary Clinton

Helen Aguirre Ferré, director of Hispanic Communications for the Republican National Committee, joined Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM on Tuesday, telling host Alex Marlow, “Mr. Trump hasn’t wanted to pander. We call it ‘Hispandering,’ he added when discussing Donald Trump’s outreach to Hispanic voters.

Continued Ferré, “When Hillary Clinton came out and said, “Oh, my gosh, I’m a good abuela” – grandmother – it was like, oh, please! You’re not an abuela. We’re just not even going to go there.”

Clinton experienced a great deal of backlash for the “abuela” comments during the Democratic primary, as Breitbart News reported at the time:

Hillary Clinton’s clumsy pandering to racial groups, and her campaign theme of portraying herself as America’s Grandma-in-Chief, collided in a website post inviting Hispanic voters to think of her as their abuela, or grandmother.

The mockery greeting this post–#NotMyAbuela–isn’t the reaction Clinton’s campaign was hoping for.

The pandering remains enshrined on Clinton’s website.

As Ferré also pointed out, “Donald Trump today, with five weeks out before November 8, is at the same level of Hispanic support that Mitt Romney had.”

Americans don't want to be pandered to by career politicians at election time, they want to be served by politicians during their term of office.

Hillary Clinton is an incumbent with no track record that served the American People. She started civil wars, created chaos, advanced nuclear weapon development in other countries, ran up the national debt, increased poverty and unemployment rates, promoted American job loss and outsourcing, supported bad trade deals that run up our trade deficits, and opened our borders to illegal aliens and excess immigrants and refugees that use tax dollars we don't have, run up debts we can't pay, steal jobs from Americans, and cost thousands of American their lives.
