Cheryl, I sure don't know what you are dissing Native Americans for. Those Casinos you are knocking were built and run legally by Native Americans. Sometimes one casino supports an entire tribe. They aren't getting anything for free--they are just industrious enough to work as a group.
And it isn't Mexicans we are against, either. It is illegal aliens, illegal immigrants and people who are in this country illegally for whatever reason.
I am not sure what you are trying to convey to us. I don't know what "yanks" you are talking about since that isn't a common American term--at least not in the last 50 years.
We don't have any control over Holland's immigration laws and so you lost me on that one, too. Are you from there? Are you trying to go there? Where are you from?
Maybe you would get a little more sympathy if you were less intent on harassing people who haven't broken any laws and try using your efforts to explain why it is that you and your husband are five thousand miles apart.
I'm confused, too-- by your post.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

cheryl, welcome to the fight
JuniusJnr
this is what I gathered from Cheryl's post as a Native American -- the arguments put forth by Mark are way outdated, we are all Americans now. I think she is upset that those that are here illegally demand amnesty and citizenship, while she, like many others, has gone through the legal process to have her husband enter the country legally from Holland.

Many people don't realize the Constitution for the United States was based in part upon the the Iroquois' Great Law of Peace. The Iroquois Confederacy consisted of six Iroquois nations, and it existed centuries before our Constitution was written and IT, not ours, is the oldest Constitution in the world. I believe it was not put in writing until sometime around 1917
The Great Law of Peace included the rights of "freedom of speech" and "freedom of religion" and the Iroquois Nation was the first women's rights movment -- women had the right to participate in government.
I remember seeing something several months back about some of the tribal leaders, not sure which tribes, saying they backed the 'white man' and not the Mexican's and others that are invading this country -- that there was a kindred spirit and respect."Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it" George Santayana "Deo Vindice"

ok ok
ok you got me i wasnt dissing any group ..... i was ranting and raving a bit in a fit of frustration thats all. I have been in this freaking immigration loop for 11 months now and havnet heard a thing. Its one thing to talk about it in a forum. But its a whole other nightmare to be living it. My response to the indians in a candid way was that I am also native american but have NEVER taken advantage of any of the indian stuff as my mother didnt raise us with any of her native culture/ values . If anything my point would be that if that nats got pushed into small reservations the government has made up for that. BUT thats really irrelevant this forum is for americans for legal immigration . And that should be the topic of discussion. IM an american citizen from wash . state and i married a man from amsterdam holland. after 4 months of marriage he was detained at the canadian border and one month later deported back to holland because we technically left the country, by going to van.b.c for the weekend. My husbands paperwork was in progress all the fees were paid and we were just waiting for the next step. OUR mistake , but now when i see that all the illegals are here and they may be able to stay i have a big problem with that..With the way things are going now I dont ever expect to see my husband come back to the USA. They say that the wait for something like this is 3- 5 yrs. We will not wait that long to be back together so i will go to him and live since he is NOT allowed back in the USA at this time. Its a sad state of affairs when you cant be with a loved one and have to leave your country to be with them. And the same laws apply in holland i can only stay up to 3 months anything past that and i will put any return trips at jeopardy. So i have to do my planning very carefully and make sure that I am back on US soil before my time runs out.sorry for jumping all over the place earlier but all these thoughts just pour out of my head into my finger tips.

Somehow I get the feeling that the high number of illegals in this country make it more and more difficult for legitimate people to get visas. It has definitely become a huge problem in the last five years. And it makes for a huge nightmare for the people who have to work through it.

My bad! I Knew the Navajo had an unwritten language and that is why it was used as code in WWII. I have nothing against Indians Just Mark. Sorry for any unintended hurt feelings caused by my slam. I just finished a book about young captives taken by the Comanche in Llano Texas in the 1870s. Almost to a man they wanted to stay with the Indians. The name of the book is The Captured. Evidently the Comanche Indians could be the worst imaginable enemies but great to friends and family. Any how sorry. I'll slam the Australian Aboriginals next I know they have no written language.
