How can you be a "minority" if you aren't even a c
I find it so strange that someone can walk into our country, and suddenly become a minority, eligible for special treatment.
First of all, any kind of special treatment was ONLY meant for native African-Americans who were being helped because we wanted to have a "level playing field" (according to LBJ). Whether or not it's a good thing, I'm not discussing.
What I AM discussing here is that you can't be a minority and get special treatment when you simply walk in, and you don't even live here, or have citizenship here. Why would someone (hispanic or anything else) even BE called a minority who needs special treatment if they aren't even citizens??
This makes me sick - they use our past history of trying to end discrimination against blacks and our stupid government lets them do it. This was not the way it was meant.
