Good. I think its time for Fred to step down.
I hope he doesn't endorse McCain. That would be telling America that Fred didn't actually believe in his own illegal immigrantion stance.
I would like to see him endorse Romney.RIP Butterbean! We miss you and hope you are well in heaven.-- Your ALIPAC friends

I've mentioned this before, but the major talk radio hosts that I have listened to: Rush, Laura, Hannity, Levin, are not buying this stuff about McCain. That's why there has been some pro-McCain columnists and talking heads (Medved, Bill Kristol) talking about the alleged demise of talk radio based on McCain's narrow win in SC (in which the indes helped McCain) and trying to push him.
Rush said how these are people want him to be quiet, but he won't, and told them to be quiet! Mark Levin basically said the same thing this morning on Ingraham.
So, we need Rush, Hannity, Levin et al to help us cut through the MSM bias and clutter, even from some so-called conservatives (Weekly Standard & Fox news types).

The media prefer McCain because he will be easy to beat for the Dems.
I'm old with many opinions few solutions.

Thompson had no heart or passion...
I never saw any heart or passion from Thompson at all. If he had money to hang to the end he'd have a chance.
....BUT....
McLame is really building steam & has to be stopped in Fla.

I hope Fred does drop out. I'm tired of his half hearted attempts at the nomination. It was a waste of time. If you're too tired to campaign, and really don't want the job -- why run? It's a waste of a lot of folks' time and money and energy.
The whole thing just makes me mad. He had such good positions on everything, but truly did seem lazy and uninterested.
If it turns out he was just a ruse to help McCain get in, I will be furious.
One thing we know -- Romney has the energy, is not an old man, is enthusiastic, and has achieved already -- much more than McCain has ever done.
