    Impeachment and MoveOn.Org

There are many rumblings in the MoveOn.Org camp regarding an impeachment march in Washington over Memorial Day weekend.

I love it !!!! However, that group needs to take a stand for or against illegal immigration before I throw any support in that direction.

I've just made this comment on their site where members vote on the importance of the topic or not. Please vote or create your own comment to force MoveOn in announcing where they stand on this issue:

    http://www.actionforum.com/forum/index. ... rum_id=266

I'll throw my full support into the impeachment of George Bush. It is time for a revolution as we are now confronted with taxation without representation and the people should take over their government again.
However, I would like to hear comments from MoveOn members regarding legalization of up to 20 million ILLEGAL immigrants.

This will be the make it or break it issue for the next elections.

wow! I didn't know there was a march in D.C., for Bush's impeachment, but I'm sure this will be more of a 'threat' than the illegal aliens and their supporters are planning

I have already called on my congressman and several other congressmen to introduce articles of impeachment.
We don’t need any new laws. We don’t need any “immigration reform”.
We need a real President that will enforce existing laws. Illegal aliens are already illegal otherwise they would not be called illegal aliens. Therefore the action I agree with is to call your congressman and tell him/her to introduce articles of impeachment as follows. (Don’t get duped by supporting new and unnecessary laws that President Bush will not enforce anyway.)

President Bush should be impeached for violating Article IV Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution.

    Article IV
    Section 4. The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a Republican form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion;

    ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT

Article of Impeachment#1: By not deporting illegal aliens and thus allowing illegal aliens to be present on U.S. soil, President Bush has placed illegal aliens above the law and as such has not guaranteed each state with a republican(rule of law) form of government. (You can not have rule of law when illegal aliens are above the law)

Article of Impeachment#2: By wanting to reward illegal aliens on U.S. soil with guest worker amnesty, President Bush has not guaranteed each state with a republican form of government. Any adjustment of status for illegal aliens in the U.S. is rewarding people for breaking the law. (You can not have rule of law when you reward people for breaking the law)

Article of Impeachment#3: President Bush has not protected the states against invasion by illegal aliens.

I agree with the impeachment issue. But I am sure moveon has a different agenda than we do. I would think based on their past history that they are not against illegal alien immigration. But if we have the same goal on one issue...then great.

No doubt, El Presidente Bush need to be gone. We cannot afford to wait unit 2008, by then the Mexican flag will fly over the White House.\

Article of Impeachment#3: President Bush has not protected the states against invasion by illegal aliens.
I agree with all articles, but I think this one is one of his worst offenses. He has failed his most basic duty.

I haven't visited moveon.org much - just for entertainment, but I would say they are not against illegal immigration - but if they can get the President impeached I am all for it.

Of course, we really have to get rid of the entire congress if we are going to see an real difference.

    Who is in control?

And to think I was an ardent supporter of Bush. Now let's see......violation of our sovereignty, immigration laws, and our constitution our by government and illegal alens, to the tune of 25 billion dollars a year for social services to illegal aliens while resulting in reduced availability of same to American citizens. Pourous borders resulting in major security vulnerabilities and the possibility of more 9-11 types of scenarios in our country. Illegal aliens using fraudulent documentation to bilk US citizens out of billions of dollars for tax-payer funded services, Illegal aliens displacing Americans "in jobs they won't do" such as the construction, services, and retail industries, illegal aliens appropriating resources meant for displaced US citizens of Hurricane Katrina such as shelter, food, and jobs, providing aid and comfort to radical groups as Atzlan, MeCHa and Raza whose political agenda is the overthrow of our government and establishment of a new land in the southwest US, 550 million dollars for construction of an embassy in Iraq which is on the verge of civil war, loss of of 22 billion dollars of Iraq reconstruction funds without any accounting for that loss and saying no availablity of money for border security, .....shall I go on?...there are many more Of which I can discuss. I am contacting my congressman, one of who responded by letter and actually signed it and demanding articles of impeachment be initiated. This country cannot withstand 2 more years of this garbage if we want to remain a country

One of our members (PintoBean) tried to organize a march to Washington DC against illegal immigration for Memorial Day Weekend.

I think moveon.org is a little to far left for my tastes and I definitely won't join any march for impeachment anywhere (not that I don't think Bush should be impeached but I think that the process would only put the border on hold that much longer and it needs to be secure NOW!) but I would join a march against illegal immigration if people from my area are going.

MoveOn.org is a socialist/communist organization, and as angry as I am with Bush, over the illegal immigration issue. I would never throw in with an organization such as MoveOn.org, that consorts and upholds governments and leaders like Hugo Chavez, and Fidel Castro.

At least in the Republican Party there are some patriots left that love this country, and are trying to protect it from invasion. JD Hayworth, Sensenbrenner, Tom Tancredo and others. Look over the F.A.I.R. website, "Federation For Immigration Reform" about the Congressmen that are on the right side of the immigration issue. And none of them are Democrats.

For pete sakes the Democrat party is hand in glove with the Socialist/Communists that helped organize the illegals rallies, and boycotts. What will it take to convince you that the old style Democrat Party is gone? In it's place, is all the wild eyed, anarchist, socialist/communist fringe that is made up of there base of the party. Call a spade a spade.

I find it funny that the Left is always talking about the poor, and when I tell them about being poor myself, and the struggle it was, they are all over me because they see a potential victimized voter. But stand up for the country, be patriotic, and want to stop the invasion of the nation by a foreign country, and I become a bigoted, intolerant, racist red neck.

I also find it amusing that everyone says only the Republicans are rich. But the richest man in America is the Democrat billionaire, Bill Gates. Not to mention the Soicalist/Communist billionaire George Soro, who is funding MoveOn.org. Peter Lewis of Progressive Insurance is another wealthy Democrat that funds MoveOn. They do philanthropist giving, but so do many rich Republicans. But it's not politically correct to name any Republicans in the liberal media that give millions to charity, because they need to keep the perception, that all Republicans are rich, greedy bigoted haters of the poor. And that the Democrat party is the only true saviors of poor people.

I like the adage, "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day - teach him how to fish and he will eat for a lifetime" sums up the only way real change takes place in the world."

Call Bush whatever you want, but give credit where credit is due.

native, being furious with BOTH major political parties for their collective lack of action when it comes to securing this country's borders, I still am able to see all of your points.

I used to feel that I was a Republican because the Republicans used to stand for business and I still feel that without businesses, we won't have jobs and without jobs we are destined toward third world nationalism.

Now I am ashamed of the Republican party. The peole you mentioned as good Republicans, and most especially, Tom Tancredo, the greatet of them all in my book, have been ostracized by the party. So what does that REALLY say about the Republicans?

I think it is time for new political parties, political parties who will look out for AMERICAN interests, to take the helm.

As I've said before if more of us had stayed in the party, not gotten mad and left sitting on the sidelines as we stewed in our jucies, there is a possibility that it would have made a difference. But Nooooo! We all, (myself) included let the bad guys take over. We didn't stay and fight, and now look what we've got.

I agree with 70 to 80% of the Republican Party, and their positions on issues. I will never, ever vote for a Democrat again till they come back to their senses. The only Democrat I would consider voting for now is Joe Lieberman. Give me a Zell Miller, or a Harry Truman. And the Democrats are trying to get rid of Lieberman. He's the only sane one they've got, for pete sake.

But as I've said, I can always come together with others of like mind on issues that need to be frought for and changed. It's called consensus.

As they say even good marriages, have strong disagreements from time to time. That's the way I look at it. I'm staying and fighting for change. Even if I lose, I'll have the satisfaction of knowing, that I did all I could do. Instead of stewing in my jucies on the sidelines.
