So I'll do what I can, from the inside for now.

movedown.org does not support the majority of opinions of Americans. They are the way to the far left who do not look at the issues, but only the chance to strike the other side whether the issue is true or made up.

05-07-2006, 01:48 PM #14As I've said before if more of us had stayed in the party, not gotten mad and left sitting on the sidelines as we stewed in our jucies, there is a possibility that it would have made a difference. But Nooooo! We all, (myself) included let the bad guys take over. We didn't stay and fight, and now look what we've got.
I let Republicans talk me out of voting third party last time because, they said, I would only be assuring that Kerry would be President (my worst nightmare at the time!) I'll never let anyone tell me again that if neither party runs a decent person as a candidate that I have to vote for the one I see as the least evil rather than a third party candidate. I think Kusinich would have made ten times better a president than either of those two rogues and he wasn't even on our ballot!
Funny you should mention Lieberman. He was the only reason I didn't vote for Gore instead of Bush the first time Bush ran. I see him as the Democratic equivalent of Dick Cheney. It's all a matter of perception, I guess.
I did stay with those fools right up until the day our president called the Minutemen "vigilantes." I guess that was a little over a year ago-- around the 1st week in April 2005. When the people at a popular Republican site attacked me personally for saying what I thought of that, I decided they definitely weren't the kind of people I wanted to be solely associated with.
I am still registered as a republican, by the way. But that will change.
PinestrawGuys I hope the Constitution Party can come up with a candidate who can win in 2008. They sure had a hard time getting candidates to run for the 2006 elections. I heard Gilchrist will run for President on their ticket in 2008. If Tancredo doesn't run, I've already made up my mind that Gilchrist will be my guy in 2008-- if that rumor about him pans out.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I think Tancredo should announce now, so we can watch the machinations of the RINO's as they move to character-assassinate him. You know the Rovian Machine will do to him the same things it has done to every other opponent for the last decade, defame and debase.
When we get the same Hobson's choice for 2008, Billary or McPain, Tancredo could take the Constitution Party nomination and kick both of their AZZES!

There is another important screw to turn.
Don't forget the RNC (Republican National Committee). I have been writing them. If they think (rightfully so) that core Republican support is leaving the they will panic. And the thoughts of a third party will throw them into full fledged panic. They know that third party due to immigration issues will hurt them more than the Democrats.
I think the RNC is still thinking they can walk the old knife edge and have Hispanic illegal backer votes and middle class core Republican votes. We need to let them know this will not fly. They need to get their heads out of the sand & butts in gear and take a decisive stand.
Then they need to have a private meeting with Bush and educate him on how the President of the United States is suppose to protect this country by securing the borders.

Go ahead and vote whatever you want. But I have to tell you voting, as important as it is, is not enough. Being involved on a day to day basis is what it takes. You can be sure the bad guys are, and that's why we've got what we've got.
If Gilchrist were to run it might scare the R party into coming in line with their Conservative base. So I do hope he runs. I might even vote for him as long as I know about some other issues and factors.
I'm working for local candidates, that I know very well. Some of them have even thought about going to the Constitution Party, but they know that right now, the CP doesn't have a chance. So they'll run as Republicans.
The vote was split when Clinton, Perot, and Bush No.1 were running. I was still debating who to vote for,Perot or Bush when I went into the voting booth. Because I was so unhappy with the Republicans. The ticket was split, and that's how we got Clinton.
He did nothing ether to secure the border or fight the numorious attackes form the terrorist. Not to mention Clinton giving missile technologies to Chna for campaign contributions.
Work for the Constitution Party. I may down the road do the same if I feel they have a chance. We'll see how it goes.
