How do we contact Vicente Fox?

Presidencia de la República at betogarcia@sip.gob.mx
    website is http://www.presidencia.gob.mx
    forums here: http://www.foros.gob.mx/

but all you get is a weekly newsletter called BUENOS NOTICIAS extolling everything that can be called GOOD NEWS about Vicente is doing...

they don't respond, they don't care..... LOS PINOS (Vicente's official residence) has a discusion forum for MEXICANS to complain, but to sign up you must prove your MEXICAN citizenship, mail/fax them copies of birth certificate or passport, proof of address..... in other words it is only for Mexicans...

I experienced their "don't give a damn about the gringo" attitude on 9-11-1999 (yes, ominous date) when I was robbed in the international terminal of the airport in Mexico City. I insisted on making a police report, but the airport cops were annoyed by my insistence (because I had no ID of any kind flying back to the US; US Immigration never wanted even to look at my police report and believed my story, frightening actually!). I wrote the Mexican Consulate in Chicago about my experience, but I got no reaction whatsoever, not even a "so sorry"...

US born citizens occasionally say the PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, which does not say anything about forsaking all others...
    __________________________________________________ _______
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation under God, indivisible,
With Liberty and Justice for all.

June 14, 1954 ünder God" was added under Eisenhower.
    __________________________________________________ ________
OATH OF ALLEGIANCE, taken by all naturalized citizens:
    __________________________________________________ ________
"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God."

In some cases, INS allows the oath to be taken without the clauses:

". . .that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by law. . ."

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So ask yourself, is it or is it not legal for naturalized citizens to hold two passports, vote in both and pledge to defend two different nations?
or if it is legal, do we need to change it?...

So why did Mexico change its laws 4 years ago PRECISELY to permit Mexican Americans to vote in both elections? Many, many US born Mexican Americans have accepted the offer from Mexico and taken (also) a Mexican passport....

The Mexican government even hired Juan Hernandez, a Texas born Mexican American, to be the first official representative of Mexicans living in the US, representative in the Mexican Congress.... if you have seen him on TV and if you get the impression he has that (phony) priestly compassionate look, you are right..... he studied to be a priest years ago... but decided instead to become a (romantic) poet...

    ..."indigenous coming here bitter..."

of coure when they are "forced" to leave their home just to survive, since their political and business elites won't provide the basics of life for their citizens...

that makes them "economic refugees", not "immigrants" by any stretch of the imagination..

but they come with socialist ideas about the "benevolent" boss man..

    JUDY, no longer do they have to "denounce" their previous government as did my grandparents! {we have one of our grandfathers documents with his signature DENOUNCING the king of Italy}

    WHAT?? A BIRTH CERTIFICATE?????????????
    PROVE YOUR CITIZENSHIP TO MEXICO????????????????????????????
And we can't get rid of these people because we don't know who they are? And we, in the USA, can't make them PROVE who they are but Vicente can for the use of a website?

Yet another difference between the immigrants of before and now. Yet we still have idiots out there who ignore and or justify the invasion under the guise of "were all immigrants". [/quote]

Worse.... financial liability must be guaranteed by a "

I believe it is still the law that legal immigrants have to be sponsored by someone established in the US who guarantees that the immigrant will not become a liability of the state.... but I have a hunch that's just a piece of paper these days and is ignored.

At least that was the rule prior to Kennedy's change of immigration rules in 1965.... my family immigrated in 1957 under those rules...

FYI, due to "human/civil rights" no longer are we ALLOWED to test for certain fatal diseases either. Legal Immigrants do NOT get tested for HIV/AIDS, etc.
