Irish politician says illegal Irish "entitled" to
Speaking last week during a visit to Washington, Mr Ahern said the undocumented Irish were “entitled” to be in the US because they had put down roots and helped build the economy, despite the fact they were residing there illegally...
Irish emigration to the US was unique, he insisted.
“Our people have built up the US. We’ve over 100 members of Congress, many presidents, and 44 million people who claim Irish descent."

Yup legal Irish helped build this country. Some were my grandparents and great grandparents. But, thats the typical rhetoric is that now everyone in the world built America and are intitled to it. At this rate there will be nothing left to divy up since we have every race and nationality here legally. And that is what they base their claim on, the legal immigrants hard work here.
Yup line up WORLD! Dismantle America piece by piece! Imagine that as a country. Wanna take bets on how long it takes for them all to kill each other?

Now this politician may just be pandering for votes.
We know, he knows, and God knows, it is all about making money.
We all would like to better our lives - so can we just rob a bank. My financial life would be better if I could just make a 'withdrawal'. My moral life would be shot -Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I don't think that my Irish ancestors who were in law enforcement would be too pleased to hear this...they kinda did this thing called obeying and in their case enforcing the law.

It isn't their fault that they 'just don't get it'. Our congressional representatives are encouraging all people here illegally to believe they have 'rights'...to believe that being here without papers is a 'no fault' situation. Pity those poor poor people who have put down 'roots' here altho they are 'undocumented'...

People that are in this country illegally have no rights. They did not help build this country and have contributed nothing. They take far more than they put in, if anything. I am of irish descent and my parents and grandparents helped build this country and fought for it. These people think they are entitled to rights, they are entitled to nothing as they are here illegally and breaking the law no matter where they are from
Freedom isn't free... Don't forget the men who died and gave that right to all of us....
