Kris Kobach Rumored for Department of Homeland Security

Kris Kobach Rumored for Department of Homeland Security…

Posted on November 21, 2016 by sundance

Amid all the chatter and opinions of possible cabinet positions for the incoming Trump administration a few of them seem more likely than others. General Mattis (w/ waiver) for Defense Secretary, and Mayor Rudy Guiliani for State Secretary are among the more ideologically, purposefully and intuitively aligned.

Another name that seems like a very real possibility, given the Trump immigration proposals and needed enforcement mechanisms, is Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach.

We previously outlined how Kobach appeared to be the central architect of the plan –SEE HERE.

Today, another report surfaces with a rather interesting angle as an AP photographer captured the image of some documents Kobach was carrying into a meeting with Donald Trump and Mike Pence.

(Via Kansas CJOnLine) A written plan for the Department of Homeland Security brought by Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach into his meeting with President-elect Donald Trump spells out a desire to question “high-risk” immigrants over support for Sharia law and the U.S. Constitution.

Kobach, an early Trump supporter, met with the president-elect on Sunday and has been mentioned as a potential pick for a position within the administration. Some speculation has centered on the secretary of Homeland of Security, and Kobach’s plan appears to lend credence to that possibility.

An Associated Press photographer shot an image of Kobach going into the meeting and clutching a binder along with a stack of papers. One page is visible and readable, though partly obscured by Kobach’s hand. (read more)

Magnified version of photo shows potential Homeland Security secretary's plan for 'extreme vetting' of immigrant

The Associated Press released a photo of Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach meeting with Donald Trump, and Kobach was holding papers that detail his plans for his first year in office if he were selected for the top Department of Homeland Security job.
Kobach, who has been called Trump's "immigration whisperer," met with Trump this week as the president-elect plans his transition into the White House. He's a rumored potential pick for secretary of homeland security.

Kobach is known for having a hardline stance on immigration, and a portion of his homeland security plan reflects some of Trump's bolder campaign proclamations about securing US borders.

The paper shown in the photo, titled "Department of Homeland Security — Kobach strategic plan for first 365 days," references "extreme vetting" questions for immigrants, a registration and tracking system, and a shutdown of Syrian refugees seeking asylum in the US.

    AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster

Here's the text that was visible on the paper:

    I. Bar the Entry of Potential Terrorists

    1. Update and reintroduce the NSEERS screening and tracking system(National Security Entry-Exit Registration System) that was in place from 2002-2005. All aliens from high-risk areas are tracked.

    2. Add
extreme vetting questions for high-risk aliens: question them regarding support for Sharia Law, jihad, equality of men and women, the United States Constitution.

    3. Reduce intake of Syrian refugees to zero, using authority under the 1980 Refugee Act.

Trump had mentioned "extreme vetting" during the campaign and controversially suggested imposing a type of religious test that would measure immigrants' views on Shariah, among other things. These "extreme vetting" rules would seem to apply to immigrants coming from areas where "there is a proven history of terrorism" against the US and its allies.

Kobach endorsed Trump early in his presidential campaign and has said Trump's idea to force Mexico to pay for a wall along the southern US border came from him.

He also authored some of the strictest immigration laws in the country. And NBC News reported that Kobach "helped write the book on creating a federal Muslim registry" in the US.

Also referenced in Kobach's document is the National Security Entry-Exit Registration System, which Kobach helped create while he worked at the Justice Department under President George W. Bush. The program was established after the 9/11 terror attacks and required people from "high-risk" countries to undergo interrogations and fingerprinting.

A Sunday news release from Trump's transition team confirmed that Kobach met with Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence over the weekend to "discuss border security, international terrorism, and reforming federal bureaucracy."

YES!! YES!! YES!! Kobach has the legal and organizational training plus his unwavering commitment to fix this national security and lawlessness associated with illegal immigration. Trump with Kobach and Sessions WILl FIX this disaster once and for all. No doubt about it. The next US Supreme Court Justice appointment needs to be someone who respects our borders, upholds our laws, and understands our Constitutional Powers and Rights to enforce the laws of our nation to the letter and verse with regards to illegal immigration.

We don't want any more wussies on the US Supreme Court who put the rights of illegal aliens above the rights of citizens and our rule of law. Period. The focus in this next appointment must not be social issues, it must be security, borders, sovereignty, trade, jobs and immigration.

Trump Immigration Architect – The Wall Will Be Built and There Will Be No Free Passes…

Posted on November 15, 2016 by sundance

Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach is the architect of the Trump immigration enforcement structures. Working diligently behind the scenes Kobach is constructing the actual mechanisms and actionable policies that will make President Trump’s policy proposals actually come into fruition.

Fortuitously, President Obama’s executive actions -as carried out by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)- have created convenient lists of many illegal aliens.

The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), otherwise known as President Obama’s “Dreamers”, and the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA), which targets the parents of the dreamers, has conveniently assembled a registration of names and addresses of unlawful aliens.

During President Obama’s press conference yesterday he was asked by a reporter if he could keep the list from the Trump administration. President Obama responded by saying he hoped Trump would not overturn his executive actions on immigration.

“We are constantly told that the only two options are massive roundups [of illegal immigrants] or an amnesty. But attrition through enforcement is the third way. Change the individual decisions of particular illegal aliens, and they will decide to leave the country.” (link) ~ Kris Kobach

“There’s no question the wall is going to get built. The only question is how quickly will it get done and who pays for it.” (link) ~ Kris Kobach
    (

    (Via NBC News
) President-elect Donald Trump’s immigration adviser Kris Kobach warned Tuesday no one living here illegally will get a “free pass” and predicted many immigrants would leave as jobs and benefits “dry up.”

Kobach, one of the architects of Arizona’s anti-immigration law SB1070, made the statement on Fox News when he was asked what Trump plans to do about people who are illegally, but are working hard and are not regarded as criminals. Kobach reached back to the immigration speech Trump made in August in Phoenix, when there were thoughts then-candidate Trump might be easing his view on immigrants.

In that speech, Trump said “every person in this country has to follow American law. No person living here illegally gets a free pass, like they did under the Obama administration,” Kobach said.
“The jobs are going to dry up, the welfare benefits are going to dry up, and a lot of people who may not be criminal illegal aliens may decide, hey, it’s getting hard to disobey federal law, and may leave on their own,” he said.

Undocumented immigrants cannot receive the government benefit that is often called welfare, but is officially known as Temporary Assistance for Needy Families. They also cannot apply for healthcare or other benefits.

The federally and state funded program is designed to assist children, so a U.S. citizen child of a parent not legally here, can qualify for it. The same may be true for health care or other programs.

The “self-deportation” idea has raised questions in the past about how far officials will go to “dry up” any benefits. It can create problems when applied to mixed status families, particularly when parents are illegally in the country but children are not. (read more)

Non-citizens should not be able to collect Government Benefits on behalf of a US Citizen...minor or otherwise!

    Stop rewarding illegal aliens.

They are the guardians and custodians of their minor children...NOT US Taxpayers

Keep the family together and deport them all.
