This lady needs our prayers and support.

Hello, I hope you don't find this inappropriate for this board, but I rec'd this email this morning and it really upset me in light of what I call "reverse discrimination" against LEGAL U.S. citizens. I'm going to post it as I rec'd it, and hope it touches you like it did me.

Why aren't the same rules used against Mexicans - or any other nationality - as those used against Americans?

Why do we have a different set of rules for Americans and another for Mexicans? I am using *Mexican* in this case as that is the group who is making news - planting their flag and all their other things in American soil and doing it with no consequences.

I do not agree that June should be allowed to tear down anything on someone else's PRIVATE property as that is wrong no matter who is involved. However, we do have a real problem with which rules apply to whom in American today.

    From: June Griffin <jb21@juno.com>

After the Rhea County Commission the 18th of July, I was travelling
toward home from the meeting and passed the latest innovation to the city
of Dayton - a Mexican grocery store. Plastered with Spanish, it ired me
to see that there was such a monstrosity right in the heart of our little
    town.

I went into the store and a young man sat there and could speak no
American at all. I looked around and saw a small Mexican flag stuck to
the back door. Seeing this effrontery, I tore it off the door and left.
Of all the nerve! It was not stolen; it was an act of war!

The next day or two I saw they had put up another, LARGER one in the
front window. I went to a lot of trouble calling the property assessor's
office to see who owned this building, which was formerly Roger's Drug
Store. I was finally given the name of a Mexican and calling this number,
heard one which I assumed was a Mexican speaking Spanish answer the
machine and leaving some unintelligible message. I then said in so many
English words that I didn't appreciate their having a Mexican flag in
downtown Dayton and asked them to remove it.

A day or two later, I had a call from the City Police Officer who asked
me if I was the one who removed the flag. I said yes. He then said words
which I value more than much silver - he said, "I knew you would tell me
the truth." Where in this vain and wicked age can you find people whose
word is their bond and the police officer would say: "I knew you would
tell me the truth." It was a special blessing.

At any rate, days went by until today, August 8, 2006, I received a call
from Chief of Police Chris Sneed who told me there was an arrest warrant
waiting for me at the jail and I needed to come down and sign some
papers. The papers included booking me for theft, vandalism and violation
of civil rights (!). After I was fingerprinted, I was allowed to bond on
a $5,000 bond and put down $512.00 to save me from jail.

The hearing is tomorrow. It is an honor to suffer for your country's
sake, even if it is in a Culture War and an insidious invasion by people
who think we are helpless little pigs who have no defender. They are
wrong. I have a Great Defender. His Name is Jesus Christ the Righteous,
the One Who was with Daniel in the lion's den, and the One Who stood by
Charles Finney and a thousand hosts of preachers and Christians who have
    been persecuted for righteousness' sake.

If there is anyone out there who knows how to reach the Mexican
Consolate, would you be so kind as to send this to him for me.

    TO THE MEXICAN CONSOLATE:

Of all the nerve, your people come into our town, speak Spanish, put up
their alien flags and expect us to take it laying down.

If all the officials are cowards, if all the businessmen are lawless
capitalists, and all the people helpless under cowardly, unpatriotic
leadership, I will do what I can as one individual to show my displeasure
    and love of my country.

You can be sure the inactivity on the part of veterans and patriots is no
sign of love for your effrontery or that their hearts are not grieved and
broken. They just wait for the Lord to execute His Wrath as He did in
avenging the death of Davy Crockett.

    With God's Help, we won.

    For God and Country,

    June Griffin

    This lady deserves a medal!!!
She is correct. We've all seen this all too often. Illegals have been given the red carpet treatment, while American citizens are being treated like peasants.

I'm so glad someone sees it like that besides me. I know it isn't right to tear down someone's property, but this is our country, and they have no right to be in it illegally and planting their flags all over the place and shoving spanish down our throats. It''s like I said in another thread on this board, I think the US govt is trying to push us into a race war, because that is exactly where this is headed.

Yes, June deserves a medal for standing up for our country, in my opinion, and I just this is thrown out of court, but the damage done to her psyche for having been arrested in the 1st place will surely justifies our prayers and support.

Again, THIS IS AMERICA - THIS IS OUR COUNTRY. ILLEGALS GET OUT!

I can't believe she is getting charged for such an irrelevant act. What a waste of time and money on our justice system.

While there is no right to plant their flags or push the Spanish language, it is not illegal either.

We need to respect the laws and set the example.

Yes June is a hero! My prayers are with her. Did anyone forward that letter to the conolsate?

I think the US govt is trying to push us into a race war, because that is exactly where this is headed.
I agree and the concern I have is the double standard already demonstrated that the Citizens of this nation are no longer valued but in fact dispensible. It could be "their" way of culling the herd to cut down on the baby boomer retirement expense.

MAN does that sound paranoid or what... I think I have crossed the line.

Bless June and all like her! I would be most interested to hear how the trial turned out.

Ya.....I think that's an issue. There are things that are against the law that we as individuals don't press because it costs so much money to do. Or we're definately not as lucky as to have someone honestly admit ya, I did it. Also....there's many times the police just tell you it's useless to press it. I had my windshield bashed in with a cement block, a wooden swing stolen out of my yard, the neighbor had a refridgerator stolen in minutes from their front stoop in broad daylight while they were getting the floor cleaned up to bring it in and when police were called we were basicly told we watch too much TV......the law doesn't work like that. Even when I found my swing and the tree it was hanging on....I had no means of proving it was that swing that was mine. I knew, the people that stole it knew and even laughed and smirked about it.......but I had to buy the new windshield, be out of a swing and the guy got nothing. The fridge was used so my neighbor had no means to prove their case....so they had to foot the bill again for that. I know I felt like a kid getting a pat on the head and told to go inside and play nice. Like why are you bothering the police with this petty stuff when there's real crimes being committed?

I just find it quite hypocritical that they are the first to jump on the slightest infraction done against them and brazenly claim such innocence when it comes to the laws they are breaking.

While that may be true, that sword cuts both ways.

The Bible also instructs us to turn the other cheek, but it doesnt' tell us to turn the other cheek til hell freezes over!
