Lol. Pretty much. What I don't understand is that we've had always shared a border with Mexico, they are the ones who send their people here in droves. You would think just like schools try to teach us a foreign language like spanish or french in Mexico they would support their people learning English since not only is english spoken in the USA but also in Canada and in Europe and to be succeeful it would be wise for them to learn english yet they refuse. Just goes to show how ignorant they are. Yet they spend our dollar and demand our dollar and want us to educate their kids for free on their terms and won't even think of having their kids tested in English? That's be like me saying I didn't want my kids to take a math test or any test for that matter because if they fail it might cause them undo stress and harm their self esteem so we should just do away with homework and testing all together and just finger paint and sing all day long.

Yep, we (the average citizen) get the bottom of the barrel to deal with, while the "cream of the crop" is in college.

I am sure it is their lack of education, or better yet common sense (which one does not need formal education for), that prevents them from seeing how sub intelligent this makes them look. Maybe we could educate them to a level where the inherent stupid logic of their demands would be visible to them.

Living here in Seattle I can pretty much tell you that immigrant Asian (legal) parents would not keep their kids home from being tested, in fact they would expect them not only to take the test, but to excel on it. And the children would take the test after studying for it.

Stupidity is not an element of diversity and should not be fostered.

In 5th grade after some mandatory state examinations, it was determined that I had attained "13th" grade level reading comprehension. It was called this because the particular test they were using only indicated beyond high school comprehension, it did not determine any details beyond 12th grade. At that point I was probably much more intelligent than most people in Mexico.

Having parents who are intelligent and armed with common sense, I could only imagine how embarrassing it would be to have a mother or father who were stupid and fought to protect my stupidity with regurgitated slander labels of discrimination and diversity. That would suck to have a parent whose entire faculty was occupied by the simplest of things, staring blankly at complication with an empty stupid gaze, fueled by racist and ethnic nationalist socialist lust, turn around and force the same utter stupidity upon me! But of course maybe the peasant communist invaders aren't quite so stupid, maybe they know enough to figure out they cannot compete. But ultimately their demands are racist, they want a special set of standards for la raza.

Here is an English phrase practice set that illegal alien children can teach their fathers (for example if they were learning English for some weird reason):

Daddy, why are you a coward? Why do you fly a Mexican flag outside and in the car, but then you left Mexico because of corruption - or thats what you told the newslady-but now you love it and want me to remain Mexican? Why are you afraid to fight corruption in Mexico and be brave like the Americanos always are when confronting tyranny? Why are you not a man daddy? Why would you rather kneel down and beg like an animal and call people names when you are in their country, instead of staying in our homeland and fighting? Why do we always lie to the officials to get free things? Are you ever going to be a man daddy and stand up for whats right?

If you think that might be too complex for an illegal alien kid stealing educational opportunities from Americans, then maybe this more realistic example may work:

Where is the social services office?
Yes this is my social security number.
    Where is western Union?

New Jersey has not listened to common sense. Beginning this spring the state tests for 4-10 grades will be given in Spanish if requested.

This is nonsense. You have to know English to succeed in America.

My next door neighbor's sister just came from China and she learned English in less than 3 months.

Turn on the English radio, TV and teach in English!

This is stupid exactly. Let me tell you something. Our son was born and raised until the 2nd grade in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He spoke nothing but Spanish until we moved back to the USA. He continued 2nd grade in Houston and in the Spring of his 3rd grade year, he took the TAKS exam in English after speaking English for only 1 year. He had no trouble making a perfect score in all areas of the exam.

I get sick in the stomach of hearing Hispanics claims they are being discriminated against with exams in our schools simply because they are English. The are the ones causing their own kids to have trouble with the English language because they do no insist on English being spoken at home. When we moved back to the USA again, Spanish was not spoken at home because we lived in a country where English was spoken.

The only people who come here that seem to have issues with this concept are Hispanics. The Chinese and Japanese don't have problems because they feel their kids must assimilate too. Often times Orientals do not even allow their kids to be placed in ESL classes. They feel as we do that these are only crutches for the kids and will only enable them to no assimilate as quickly as possible,

I don't feel sorry for these people at all. Get over it and quit making excuses for your kids. The sooner they realize they are American and English is our language they quicker they will assimilate and succeed.

I think they don't want assimilation or success. They simply want to destabalize.

Unfortunately, success is a subjective concept. You have to keep in mind we are dealing with an ignorant, third world mindset.

Success for these people is not the same as you and I would define that concept. Many of these invaders are quite content never learning a word of English and working some factory job for the rest of their lives. Most are not educated and do not instill in their children they must get an education. They don't have one so they do not demand their children get one.

Most alarming is the mind set of these people. Having anchor after anchor in which they can draw welfare and housing sudsidies is a vast improvement from where they came from.

And they do not need to speak a word of English to have an anchor and collect welfare benefits on its behalf.

The illegals kids would learn English if their stubborn, ignorant, criminal parents would attempt to learn English and start teaching at home.

If the criminal parents put half as much energy into learning English, as they did committing crimes to get and stay here, we would all be better off.

Instead, money is spent on printing everything in Spanish, keeping American children's learning speed at a slow crawl while Mexicans are catered to. We are told there is no special help for our children, but money falls from the sky (our pockets), to help the kids of supposedly only 12 million illegals. If the number were even remotely true, this topic would not need to be discussed.

All we are getting out of illegals is another "entitled" group of people. We already have plenty of those in the US. We don't need anymore.
