Thread: This makes me uneasy

WE CANNOT SETTLE FOR ENFORCEMENT ONLY. Someone said we should concentrate on the enforcement and come back for the rest. We have got to go for it all now or never.

We need to get as many as we can out of the country and enforce the laws at the same time. Maybe our Government can figure out how to multitask.

If we let them get away with a promise of enforcement, then that means we have to absorb the ones already here. And in 10 years we will have 12 million more to absorb.

I saw a cute bumper sticker that said

THEY SAY NO JUSTICE NO PEACE...WE SAY NO JUSTICE KNOW PEACE.

Amen to that.

Some of the people talking against it are saying part of the package is family reunification. I believe one of the talkers was a lawmaker.

In essence they can bring their families here - their grandparent, etc.

I thought it was strange also since I don't think legal immigrants get to do that - do they?

It is part of the amnesty deal as I understand it.

The idea of Family Reunification was put into immigration law by LBJ. Prior to that, we used the quota system in which we let x number of people in from a particular country. It basically says that a percentage I think 77% of all new immigrants should be relatives of current residents.

Most of the current bills will make non-working spouse and children, about 3.8 million, legal and they will also increase the cap of family based migration by 254,000 plus.

From what I seen on the net it looks to be about 25 - 30 million new immigrants and guest workers and the current illegals within ten years but, I don't know how they are comming up with that number or how reliable it is.

If there are not more INS raids this week then we'll know it was just a comical political ploy. The pallet company wasn't even U.S. owned. Now if they raided Tysons that would mean something. But we know it's not going to happen.

WE are not getting things done, All I can see is people on this site chating. I also have been sending emails to gov people where is it going? The Illegals sure get theres. I told Feinstein when I see them comming across our borders sorry there not fammilys.THEY ARE SINGLE MEN.

I see illegals taking to the street, all over the place they get news covrage all over the place, where is ours,seams like we are all on the band wagon here but thats just ON HERE, NOT ON THE STREETS!!!!.

Border fence is a sham issue,Hillary and her kooks support it , so you know its BS. We dont really need one if we had interior enforcement.

Oh, I think that fence is very important. And I think if it had been done long ago, we wouldn't be in this mess today. I don't know if you realize it but most of the border with mexico is range land that people can just walk across at will. They claim they don't know where the border is sometimes. I think a fence would make it all quite clear, personally. It would eliminate any misunderstanding as to where the border is and that we don't want people coming across anywhere but at legal check points.

Bush reportedly said today that we could not possibly deport all of the illegals. This means he has had open borders for 5+ years knowing full well he would ask for amnesty. He also said we should look at alternative sources of energy. Duh!! Ya think!! He specializes in closing the gate after the cow is gone.

Well as you can tell I am new to this site maybe it should have been put under a new subject. you know I was upset when I wrote it. it's like our gov is not hearing what we are saying. I see nothing on the news to realy support us only on CNN.or whats on this site our we getting our massage out? I have not seen anything about boycots,rallies,marches on the news or the paper,JUST ILLEGALS getting it.
and every time I turn around our gov says give them Amnesty
my thought was a way that we could be seen so I thought same color ,once a week we would be seen and was looking for feed back.
and if it caught on with enough people then we could be in big numbers,and a way for us to unite on the same page.and maybe it might be a bigger impact.

There will be other opportunities after the May 1 boycott I'd be willing to bet. I'll wear blue on Friday no problem why not my girlfriend says it matches my eyes, my wife is neutral on the subject.
