    He may not. Ron Wyden just announced he will miss votes due to prepartion and undergoing prostrate cancer surgery.

    Why would he bring it up for cloture if he doesn't have the votes, especially after what happened to the DADT repeal?

    He made a committment to do that when he ran for reelection - he has to bring it up or the hispanics will ))*&%$% on the dems.

    So the reason he's bringing it up now is because of Wyden's surgery. Okay, I think I have a handle on this.
