How About a Forum on Illegals?

Did anyone watch the AFL-CIO Democratic Presidential Forum tonight? It was moderated by Keith Obermann (who did a pretty decent job). Again, there were not enough questions on illegal immigration. Most of them were on health care, labor unions and such.

I'll say one thing, if the dems get in office, the national debt is going to the moon! Universal health care FOR SURE!!!!!! That's all I heard....spend, spend, spend. But thats the democratic way.

It sure would be nice to have a Presidential Forum on Legal and Illegal Immigration. I wouldn't be able to watch the democratic forum with a straight face! And it would be interesting to see some of the republicans squirm!!!! Paul, Tancredo and Hunter would have a hayday.

Anyone have any ideas on who we could approach for something like this????

I am hoping that when it gets closer to the primaries someone will let the topic of illegal immigration out. Right not everyone is protecting there butts on this issue. No one wants to come right out and speak about it except a few. They won't give them air time at all. I think if the Americans put enough pressure on the media will have to let this topic out and not keep it wrapped up in there cocoon.

I don't think no amnesty was supporting the Dems per se. Probably just saying that if its Ghouliani, the Reps are screwed.....All the Dems will vote for Hillary, while ourselves and fellow patriots will sit on our hands or vote Constitution Party. The Rep party will splinter unless it nominates a TRUE conservative.........when is the last time that happened? The real conservative Americans are getting fed up with this party.
Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.

    See you at the signing!!

...vote for the person...not the party
Never look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother

If we are still talking parties - we are still in a lot of danger.

Ask yourself what has the Republican party done for us as far as illegal immigration is concerned? Yes, they did stand up for this last skirmish.
But the perpetrated, protected and encouraged it for 30 years prior to that one vote.

So, now what are they doing? Are they going around giving the harsh, ugly statistics to the nation and letting them see the truth the media is hiding?

Are they telling the American people of the criminals within the ranks of illegals, or the number of Americans killed, of the diminishing education of our children, of the American family businesses destroyed by illegals, of the facts of the reason our healthcare is unaffordable for the average American, why our property taxes are so high, why our auto insurance is so high?

No, they are running around the country pretending to be 'strong' on border security - but only advocating things that will take years to put in place. Border security is good and necessary and way, way past due.

What we need to clean out our country is some interior enforcement. We need the jobs dried up for the illegals. When the jobs are gone, many of the illegals will go - and many will take their anchor babies with them.

We need real raids, not spending boatloads of money picking up 3 or 10 illegals.

Why haven't we heard any of them take a stand on this - instead they want to a 'pass some new law' - when the old ones are dusty from disuse.
