Fedup is fed up/ thank goodness for this board...

It's really been getting to me lately... (well more then it usually does!!)

This past week I'm reminded daily of my town's dire straits. It hasn't always been like that.

-I'm driving and there is one Wisconsin plate car in front and three on the side (they go to Wisconsin to get plates). I stop to get some supper and park inbetween two Wisconsin cars

-I'm shopping at Target and a ladies cart is blocking the isle. I kindly ask her twice to move her cart please and she stares at me blankly like I'm the crazy one speaking a foreign language. I truly believe that is what she was thinking. So I whip out my Spanish and ask her to move her cart -no please this time. She begrudingly does.

-I'm going down a two lane road and this lady and her kid steps right in the middle of the lane. I keep going as there is no way she expects me to stop right? She apparently does and starts swearing in a foreign language. I stop the car, open the window, and say like a cop in Spanish 'what did you say?' And I start taking out my phone -she ran.

How do some of you cope with these feelings and frustrations?

What more little things can I do to make life more 'uncomfortable' (as one article put it) for those who choose to live illegally in my country and town?

It's a mess, isn't it? We don't have these problems here...yet...but when I read of our laws being broken, or not enforced in other areas, it burns me up...

It burns me more, when our own government won't listen to reason!

    Ahhhhh, (((((Big Hug)))))) fedup.

Your just having a moment. I've done the same thing.

    Just talk yourself down.

Your frustrated because every where you look you can see the criminals. Your awake and that is why it is bothering you so much.

Trust me, it will be OK. We will keep working on in and know that about 80% of the population agrees with you.

    Count to ten fedup
We all got to wait for gd congress to get off there butts. If the store your at seems to serve more then an average amount of foreign people (more then normal) then chances are some are illegal and probably if they don’t speak English they haven’t learned it yet or choose not to speak to You because they don’t want to be polite (I run into some rude people that don’t speak English) but I have been told most soon to be dearly deported know English just choose not to use it.

Most people feel the way you do
My wife said take a group of kids to the store with you next time people cant stand that even when they have kids (smelly diapers are the best whe you get in line behind a rude one)

I like the idea of dropping a bag of jelly beans in her cart at the store maybe a gallon of milk some men’s hair die, when she gets to the line it can creat confusion and she doesn’t speak English any way so then we get to watch the manager deal with it. You could try saying at the top of your lungs MAIM DON’T PUT THAT IN YOUR COAT!!!!
She will avoid you like the plague

Getting Physical is never the answer !!!

Fedup, I usually go down and spend a good 15 to 20 minutes on the punching bag I have hanging in my garage. It always seems to help.

    Thanks all.

Forgot to add for this week. We get the registration packet in the mail for school next year. I open up the envelope and see Spanish letters. I keep going through the multiple papers and seeing no English. My spouse says, ahhh, why don't you flip it over the English is on the back.

    Think about that statement...

I'm going to go buy a punching bag.

    fedup,
I'm a fellow Illinoisan and am in the same boat, as you know from previous posts. Just yesterday in cicero I saw exactly what you are talking about; a car loaded with mexicans and WISCONSIN plates. They get them illegally in WIS and drive to IL.

I KNOW how it feels to be overrun by these illegals and have to live with it everyday as you do. I'm also fascinated lately by the MSNBC specials on the different prison systems throughout the country and refer back to what I've seen everytime I think of drastic solutions to our problems. We can't do anything drastic or we'll end up living with them and their relatives in prison. That's a fact. WE'RE the law abiding citizens.

What we can continue to do is work against them and support organizations like alipac and numbersusa. Make your phone calls and send your emails to your reps to express your disgust with their treason and call the mgr's at all the illegal mex restaurants and businesses to complain. When I call one and they give me attitude it opens up a whole can of worms and they give me permission to go off. We can withhold our business and support for these traitors as a way of life and THAT is power.

Try it, it will make you feel better and make your situation a bit more tolerable as you are on the side of the law in the issue and these other people are not.
