Richard, he can exit via the main garage door (no wall, we used to have a temporary wall with a doorless "doorway, but had to take it down), the door into the kitchen and the door feet beyond that outside. Otherwise I'd never let him do it and we'd sleep in the living room and him in his own bedroom. He likes being out there (he got to choose) as it is a ways from the main area, seems secluded (he suggested getting a camper, and setting it up in the backyard with an extension cord to it...I said NO, ugh, quite junky looking..LOL).

His other idea, was to turn the attic space into a spot, out of the question also, it is not high enough, and NO way out but through the ceiling ladder entrance. Teen boys, they'd love to have some space where it is SO separate from all else.
