She worked in a restaurant and the father in low paying construction. So just how much public assistance were they getting all those 15 years?

$134 a month per child in food stamps of $1340 a month x 12 = $13,400 a year, plus tax credit welfare in the thousands if they filed a tax return, free school lunch program, WIC vouchers, MediCaid, etc., etc., etc. and probably low-income housing assistance because of the kids.

I am bumping this on this Memorial Day Post in honor of my dear friends who gave the last full measure of devotion and love to our beloved United States of America and We the People. Today, hundreds of thousands of brave red blooded American women and men stand resolute and ready to take bullets for us all. They are out outstanding and patriotic military troops. Heroes one and all. Brave, bold, selfless -- they are not in this for PROFIT or MAKING OUT LIKE A BANDIT like our politicians and TYCOONS. They are our brothers and sisters and GOD BLESS THEM AND AMERICA.

Let each of us redouble our efforts and know that here in my beloved city of San Francisco the annual "running of the patriots" has been held. It is over but the forces of evil, the invaders have not won this war. Fight on bravely Semper Fi!
