William: EMERGENCY ALIPAC BOARDS MEETING NOW!

    Friends,

I'm here at my base of operations in DC.

My meetings for the day are over and I only have one more talk radio show scheduled.

I wanted to open this thread to see if anyone ...

    1. Has any questions for me.

    2. Has any priority one information on the latest developments to share.

    3. Has any questions about our final game plan calling the Dems.

    4. And most importantly, any questions about tomorrows vigils and waiting games inside the main state US Senate offices.

Please feel free to post questions and urgent info or any changes in Senator positions here.

I will tend this thread through the evening untill I pass out.

    W,

What time is the cloture vote scheduled.

If we can only have limited coverage of the offices, what hours would be best.

I need to let the volunteers know when to show, and figure out if we need different shifts.

It sure seems likely that Burr will vote NO on cloture.
Domenici will vote NO on cloture
I would be surprised if Bond voted for cloture. Likely Webb also.
The non-tabling of the Baucus amendment could be a poison pill. It has shaken the Grand Compromisers.

Thanks. We newbies don't want to step on any toes.

Has anyone said to a Senator or a radio station that what Reid did today may be legal but definitely UNAMERICAN to muzzle debate?

I think Bingaman can be swayed to a No after today. He is for limiting immigrants to 200K and I'm hoping he'll take exception to this wide open fling the gates open bill. But it's only my opinion.

We still do not have an exact time for the Cloture vote.

We just know they want to do it early because after the Cloture vote, they must wait 30 hours to take a vote on the bill.

Since the next day is a Friday and the begining of the 4th of July break, they will want to move on cloture early Thursday.

That is why it is so important that everyone goes to the Senate offices when they open, especially in the western time zones.

You can continue to call Senate offices and call local press from your cell phones in and outside of the Senate offices, just be respectful of the operations of the offices.
