Thread: No matter what we do it looks like it's going to pass

Our Senators have just committed treason!!!...They have kicked us in the face...they are defying us!!!...they are ignoring us....

If I was a resident of any state where my representatives and senators voted to support illegals in any manner, I would "deport" them from office before they could say COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION.

I have called Burr's office at least a dozen times (and seems I get the same guy) his little brown nose staff members are lying to us by saying that "Senator Burr has not made a stance on the bill...yada yada yada"

I have sent dozen of emails and sent him at least 20 letters...I did get a generic letter with a printed signature that states that Burr is for tougher borders and that he does not support amnesty...however, he refuses to admit that he does support this bill!!

I feel so helpless....I feel like I am not doing enough..... that we are not doing enough...

I am so pissed that I am the only one in Burlington area that drives around with a sign on my car to contact Senator Dole and Burr and the President to Stop this Amnesty Bill yet no one calls or contacts their politicians....

I was listening this weekend on 680 wptf and heard someone advocating that a builder/subcontractor will be able to hire cheaper labor since this bill will be passed....imagine my rage at this statement....

Why can't we protest infront of Bush's Crawford Tx home like Cindy Sheehan...Why can't we stand infront of the Capital or Whitehouse with a huge sign NO AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS????

Why my dear fellow Americans when we have a demonstration only about 100 people show up yet La Raz and other hispanic organizations and ultra-socialist liberals can get thousands....what in the heck is wrong with US???

I have tried and tried....we all that come to ALIPAC are trying but the general population of American citizens don't hear us and they don't care....how can we change this apathy???

The reason that you cannot get more people out is that we are the workers and taxpayers. While an illegal will just go get more food stamps and other benefits. Most of us have to work to pay for our housing while the illegals have a baby and we pay for their housing.

Our senators are suppose to represent us and while we don't always agree with everything they are suppose to put americans first. It is only the last twenty years where anyone but americans come first. The generation that should be hitting the streets is the "ME" generation and has been given everything and believes it is going to continue. they need to wake up.

Don't get discouraged...they are hearing us. In the end, it's going to be up to them whether they listen or not.

Keep up the noise!!! E-mails, faxes and phone calls. Not just to your home state Senators but also the targeted Senators that are listed in ALIPAC action notices and as many other Senators as you can. I routinely pull up all the Senators and their contact information at this website http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_i ... rs_cfm.cfm and just go down the list and send each of them an e-mail. It takes a while and can be tedious but it makes me fel as though I am getting my message across. Also, I call the ones who can either make a difference or the ones who I know are traitors just to tell them they are sell outs of America.

Big business CONTROLS everything.. These special interests groups CONTROL everything..

these politicians are just schills.

The thing is.. do Americans have the fortitude TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT?

If AMERICANS started rioting and tear SH$T up - they would listen. They know that in a week or two, it will die down..... pat us on the head and say its okay...

by then, Bush would have married mexico with the United States.

I am surprised poeple aren't throwing cake or tomotaoes at these people. I swear if Bush came to my area, I'd lob a friggin rotten piece of fruit at him and call him a traitor.

The battle isn't over just yet, take-action-now! I sense and feel your frustration and I think everyone in here does, too! I know you have fought hard and you have gone the extra mile (or two) to make your voice heard! This can be exhausting and frustrating when you don't see others with the same level of passion, sense of urgency and dedication as you have.

But let me say to you that the only person you are responsible for is you! People will do or not do what they want and ultimately it is their decision to act. SO...that means that we are now fighting for those who don't understand or have any idea just how important this issue is! If we win this, the victory will exhilarating! If we loose, there will be heavy disappointment! But remember, people, tribes and nations have been changed because of the convictions and actions of just a few and against much opposition!

But win, lose or draw...the battle is a good one because it is the right one and I hope you will find comfort and satisfaction in that. IF...and I say "IF" we loose S. 1639, we will have many opportunities to fight again...and I just bet that with each battle we fight, more and more American citizens will join us in the cause!

Keep fighting! Keep your spirits high! There is a lot going out there behind the scenes that we don't see that is partnering and aiding our efforts here behind the computers, faxes, phones, banners, rallies and bumper stickers!
