LOL "D" for career, and "D-" for recent.

Now it comes down to who McCain picks. Obama could have helped himself if he picked Byron Dorgan, or perhaps Heath Shuler, but of course he wouldn't. If McCain picks Romney, he has it won. If McCain picks a neoconservative, globalist, OBL, then Obama wins.

I really don't think that Obama helps himself at all with this choice. Its a lateral movement.
I agree. McCain MUST choose someone acceptable to conservative voters in order to win the election. Of the McCain VP "frontrunners", Romney would be the most palatable for conservatives.

You would think a man in his 60's would have learned a thing or two by now, wouldn't you?

[quote]If he is the pick, Biden might have some explaining to do. He told FOX News’ Alan Colmes on Aug. 10, 2007, that he didn’t want the job.

Obama needs help in his race against Republican rival John McCain.
So, he picked a McCain clone to draw votes. Biden has a tendency to seem level headed and like someone you can trust.

Obama's not giving you Change, just another McCain.

Doesn't Biden lean towards the center, just like McCain?

Now it's McCain's turn to pick an Obama doll for his running mate.
